Bane didn't want to move himself out from the bedding he was hidden under. Being in wolf form, the sheets felt too warm against his skin. His thick coat protected him enough against the mild temperature in his penthouse.
What was keeping him stuck under the warm covers was the little human who had insisted that she would only lay down if the 'fluffy puppy' was near her. Divo gave a snort of disdain upon hearing this. He hated that nickname. He wasn't any damn puppy or domestic dog.
The human side of him didn't mind it as much though since he understood that it was the price that he had to pay in order to get Celeste to be comfortable around him. A small price at that.
He would even be okay if she wanted to keep calling him that after she woke up. So long as she didn't change her mind once she was sober and suddenly become afraid of him. He really hoped that that wouldn't be the case.
