Bane stared at her a moment longer as he tried to read the expression on her face. Divo wanted to kiss the little human, but that wasn't something that his human side was going to allow to happen. He doubted that it would go over well at the current moment in time.
"You're still going to say those kinds of things even though you know I'm with someone else?" Celeste asked confused as she stared at the other.
"I say them because while I accept that you're currently with someone else, I also know that it will never work between you and whoever else you decide to be with." he begrudgingly accepted the fact that his little human was with someone else.
"You make it sound like I don't have a choice in this." Celeste huffed as she turned away from the other. It didn't stay that way for long before the alpha gently grabbed her chin to turn her back to look at him.
