Celeste felt as though she was breaking through a dense fog as her consciousness came back to her. Her eyes felt like they were lead, too heavy to open. The rest of her body felt similar.
She had no idea where she was or how she had gotten there. The only thing that she could focus on was the distant noise of what sounded like two people arguing. Both voices sounded vaguely familiar but her brain couldn't place either of them.
"What in the hell were you thinking by bringing her here? This is the worst possible thing that you could have done." One voice boomed.
"Relax. I was doing you a favor. I don't really think that there is anything for you to be that upset about. I just did a little something to make sure that she would have a comfortable nap on her way over here. She looked like she needed it anyways." Another voice said. This one sounded more passive if not slightly amused. They didn't raise their voice as they continued to talk with the other.
