As the day moved towards the afternoon, Celeste was surprised to see that Bane hadn't come in like usual. His recent streak of being there every day was suddenly broken.
Not that she was purposely keeping track of how often the alpha stopped by. She only made a mental note of it because she had to prepare herself each day he came by for whatever kind of interaction they were going to have.
