When the next day rolled around, everyone at the coffee shop could tell that Diana was in a worse mood than she usually. It was to the point that Edgar had to request that she take care of putting the drinks together rather than taking the customers' orders.
He didn't want her bad mood to scare them off.
"Are you doing alright? Do you maybe need a little bit of coffee for yourself this morning?" Celeste asked. She as she held out a cup to the other. She figured it might be better if she was the one to try and break the ice with Diana since no one else seemed to want to do it. Her coworkers only spoke to the foul-tempered woman if they had orders they needed to give her.
Diana scowled at the mug and pushed it away.
"I don't need any of that this morning. Thank you." She replied curtly as she went back to what she was doing. Celeste shrugged it off and gave it to someone else, but Pepper wasn't happy about what happened.
