The food was a pleasant distraction for Celeste after having seen Bane. It was exactly what she needed to help lift her spirits and forget about what had been bothering her.
The place that she had asked Jen to order from was a small Mexican restaurant that was tucked away in a corner of one of the strip malls. She had asked her friend to make the order as Jen knew one of the serves there well enough to be able to get a good discount whenever she ordered or came over to eat and had friends with her.
Celeste didn't scarf down everything that was in front of her quickly, she just made sure that her mouth was consistently full just enough so that her friend couldn't ask her any questions that would make her uncomfortable.
"I know that you had said you were hungry, but I didn't realize you were famished." Jen teased as watched the other eat.
