Jen had found some snacks in one of her cupboards that she and Celeste could enjoy until the food arrived.
still wanting to avoid the heavier conversations, they continued the prior one about what to do for the holidays. Jen was slightly disappointed that she didn't hear back from Crescent after she had messaged him with Celeste's number. She figured though that it must have meant something came up during his shift that needed his attention. She knew though that he would get back to her once he had a free moment.
"What are you going to be doing for the holidays' Lessie?" Her friend asked as the conversation began to shift to those in general. She took another handful of chips as she waited to hear what her friend's reply was.
