Crescent was both elated and surprised when Jen had texted him while he was working the night shift. He had thought that he was going to be able to get the night off and spend it back at the cave, but someone ended up calling in sick and he was requested to fill the spot. A request that he couldn't refuse in his current position.
It was even better to him when his friend brought something up about Celeste into the conversation. He would be interested in doing something for her since she was the little human who belonged to his brother.
Though he was eager to do it, he knew that he would still have to go through proper protocol to make sure that he could get the time off before he agreed to something that he wouldn't be able to do.
