Celeste was surprised that everything ended up going better than she had expected it to. She wasn't sure if Crescent believed the fact that she and Liam were dating or not, but her host friend sure gave it his best shot to make it as believable as possible.
If Jen hadn't already known that it was a farce, she would have a hard time believing that the two weren't actually together. Being a host had apparently helped turn Liam into a really good actor. Celeste knew that she was going to have to do something huge after this to thank her friend for all the trouble that he had gone too.
Most of the conversation wasn't that uncomfortable either. Neither Liam or Crescent seemed to mind answering any of the questions that the other had. There were even a few things that the two found they could agree upon. This helped to take away some of the worry Celeste had about the two getting along.
