Crescent could only guess that the refence of 'mate' was something that Bane hadn't yet explained to her.
"Yeah. Another way to refer to one's partner." Crescent replied as he occupied one of the stools at the front counter while waiting for Celeste to get the coffee.
"Oh." She replied as he grabbed the cup and began to write down the coffee sequence Edgar had her memorize since Bane liked it.
"In what type of circumstances would you use it?" she then asked as she started to gather together the ingredients that she would need. Not everyone was in yet which meant that she was left to take and put together orders of every customer that came through the door.
"Intimate circumstances generally." the silver haired man explained as he rested his arms on the counter.
