Outside, the clouds were clear. Three days had gone by with no signs of the two emerging. On the second day, the clouds cleared letting those present see what was going on.
To their disappointment, they didn't see either. Since they couldn't barge into the sacred grounds, they waited impatiently.
This waiting game didn't sit well with everyone. Once the cloud cleared, they expected the Seer to explain the phenomenon.
They had assumed that he owed them an explanation seeing as he was the only one left. Many didn't know about the Seer since he hardly spoke.
Additionally, he had never contributed to their community. Or so they thought. They didn't respect him. They felt entitled to his service.
His delay made them angry. By the time the third day rolled in, they were ready to break through. Regrettably, they couldn't. The seer's homestead had always been a holy ground.
