With his current heightened senses, he was sensitive to anything that threatened his person. So, his current vision wasn't helping his sensitivity.
His body burnt with a fever. An effect of the overwhelming roller coaster he was still experiencing. He whimpered, his heart burning with rage. Whatever he was seeing was making his condition worse.
