Magnus led Cosmo deeper into the cave. His heart was thudding relentlessly in his chest. His eyes were heavy with exhaustion and red from crying.
Yet, it didn't dim the light in them. Cosmo let him lead, eyes stuck on his back. He couldn't help but feel that something was not right with his new friend.
Magnus stopped in his tracks beside a makeshift bed that was big enough for two. He let go of his partner's hand and removed his outer robe.
A small smile formed on the corner of his lips when he saw how bright Cosmo's gaze was. The demon didn't care that he was caught watching. He didn't get the chance to appreciate the Seer's beauty previously.
Now that he was given the chance, he treasured it. As though reading Magnus's mind, he also got rid of his outer robe. He then looked around and went to grab his bag.
