Ian looked at the girl and gave her a sad smile. Not long ago, he was the one comforting her. Now, the tables were reversed.
He liked it though. He was glad that I had someone to defend him to when he felt wronged. Although he was older than her, he needed to be loved too.
He rested his head on her shoulder and closed his eyes. Every word Lila said to his mate echoed loudly in his head. He didn't know that she paid attention to him as much as he did to her.
