His eyes bulged out of their socket. If he thought she was cute when she smiled, she looked adorable and squishy with that pouty face.
He couldn't resist. He held her chin and slowly brought her close. Her gaze collided with his hungry ones. "May I?" He asked swallowing saliva down his dry throat.
She nodded. Kai caressed her lips with his thumb before kissing the pout away. Unlike the hungry kiss she expected, he gave her a sweet and chaste kiss.
"Baby, why do you look more beautiful every time I look at you? You make it hard to look away from you."
She closed her eyes unwilling to look into his sincere gaze. Although she couldn't say it, he made her flustered again.
Her stomach was in chaos as millions of butterflies fluttered their wings therein. Her initial depressed mood was momentarily forgotten replaced by the calmness his proximity brought.
