My alarm went off as I reached out to shut it up all to no avail. I groaned as I lazily opened my left eye to peek at the digital alarm clock on the wall which read 8:28 which meant I had 32 minutes to get to school. I jerked off my bed not realizing I was at the edge and immediately had a head collision with the floor. Amazing, Nice way to start your day, not. I immediately rushed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and have my bath. I'm surprised my mom hasn't screamed for me to get up which means she has gone to work

I opened up my closet and walked in, looking for what to wear when my phone rang

"Asia, pick up the phone"

"You better be ready, I'm really close to your house" Millie all but yelled

"Morning to you too" I replied

"Don't morning me until you tell me you're ready"

"Soon Millie" I said

"Did you just wake up?"

No"

"Liar"

"Fine, I just did, could you just end this call so I can get ready before you show up and kill me"

"Oh I am so gon-" I quickly ended the call

8:40

I walked downstairs and opened up the fridge to look for my stash of chocolates when the door bell rang

"It's open" I called

"Millie?" I questioned getting surprise

"Don't give me that look" she scowled 

"Have you eaten"

"Nope"

"why?"

"Because I was about to eat my ch-" I paused

"What Millie?" asked

"My ch- chinese takeout" I said

"You're lying sweetie, lemme guess chocolate" she stared at me

"Guilty" I confessed

"You still need to eat a salad once in a while, you could get sick and then you'll be admitted, you'll be diagnosed with diabetes and after that you'll die and I'd have no one to complain to?". She sniffed

Wait, what?

"I'm not going to die, jeez, now can I eat my chocolate in peace so we won't be late"

She snatched it from my grasp as she turned around, returning it back to the fridge. She bent down and started bringing out stuffs for salad

"I'm making you a salad"

I scrunched up my face

"Stop that" she turned around and dropped the ingredients on the counter. And five minutes later, "Okay, I've had enough, let's go" I groaned

"Fine, only because you finished half" I grinned as we walked out of the house to my favourite car, the Bugatti lá voitúre Noir

We got in and drove off to school

" I hate this car" Millie screamed as I drove on top speed

"Hey, don't insult my P.J. ,he's my baby" I glared at her

"But he's a death car" she shrieked.

"So, still got a crush on Khalid" I smirked

"Shut up" she blushed

"Urgh, you don't blush in my car"

"Hey what about Nathan?" she asked

I scrunched up my face, irritated

"Awwwn you look like a cute panda" she smiled

"There's nothing going on between me and your cousin and there will never be" I gagged

She giggled "but Nathan is a sweetheart"

I stared wide eyed at her

"Eyes on the road missy unless you wanna kill us"

"The guy literally follows anything in skirts"

Literally

"But he likes you" I resisted the urge to puke as I parked at my favourite spot.

"Yeah right" I got down from the car same time as Millie and locked it up

"What do you have?" I asked Millie as we walked to our locker

"Literature" she grinned

See the thing is Millie thinks the Literature teacher is hot which I find rather disgusting.

"Earth to Millie" I snapped my fingers in front of her face.

"I'm back" she blinked.

" I'll be going now" Millie said as she walked to her class and I went to my locker to pick my note.

I got to class and went to my usual spot behind. I still had 30 minutes before class started so I decide to listen to music and placed my head on the table

A few minutes later I looked at my phone and then looked up but he hadn't come.

Turns out he wasn't coming so I picked up my books and went to the library

It wasn't really crowded so I went to the second floor of the library picking up a book on the way and sat next to the window that gave me a perfect view of the city. Few minutes later, I heard shuffling and the seat next to me was pulled out.

I didn't pay any attention as I continued reading until my book was yanked out of my hand

"Hey" I turned to glare at the person when I saw Asher and scrunched up my face in confusion as I blinked

"Asher" I said trying to make sure I wasn't hallucinating

"Yeah baby girl".

"What do you want?" I groaned trying to take my book from him but he took it up, away from my grasp

"Hello to you to" he frowned

"What do you want?" I asked again glaring at him

I really wasn't in the mood for this

Can't I just have one less dramatic school day?

"Look, I'm sorry okay. I really am" he ruffled his blonde hair as I stared at him blankly

"Say something" he pleaded with his eyes

I sighed "What do you want me to say? Why can't you leave me alone"

" But it's been so long"

"Doesn't matter" I retorted

" I just need some time" I said thinking of a way for him to leave

"Okay, can I at least have your number?" He questioned

"You're crossing your boundaries Asher"

"Please?"

"Fine" if that's the only way to get rid of him then so be it

He grinned as I gave him, then he handed my book back to me and left
