CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE
Hey! A girl says waving at Lilly in the shopping mall.
'Do you know her Lilly's friends asked. 'No! Lilly replies, it's pretty obvious she wants to be friend she suggests as she waves back to the girl.
The girl approaches them and introducing herself to be a new girl in town and she had no friends to keep her company and show her around. Lilly observed her so well and with no doubt she was indeed new it felt like she was from out of space because the way she starred at things and behaved it was like as if it was her first time seeing all of it.
They had lunch together and Lilly didn't just decide to sit with the new girl because we all know Lilly isn't that cool she loves the bracelet the girl had on. If was pure gold and it was going to cost a fortune of one could sell it. This alone was a sign that she was from a wealthy home.
'Where do you live', Lilly asks the girl who was still struggling to hold her cutlery properly.
'not to far; she replies. 'Am still new so no much details for safety purpose', the girl says.
'you seem to enjoy our company and you ate your meal paid freely; Lilly tools the new girl.
'Thank you so much, how do I repeat repay you; she asks
'ohh it's a pleasure you don't have to, but I won't mind having your jewelry; Lilly said still acting all friendly
'Yes it's a beautiful one, I know; the new girl says as she stops eating and decides to take her leave.
'You have to drink water, Lilly said smiling sheepishly, did I scare you; Lilly asked.
'No, the new girl answers doing the glass of water back to the table as she stands to leave
'Not so fast', Lilly said holding the girl's hand pulling her back to the chair. 'You have a pretty jewel, is it for sale; Lilly jokes as her friends joins in the laugh.
'i see you after my necklace, the girl thought as she laughs with them which makes them confused. 'you love it don't you, you can have it; she added. As Lilly heard the sound of that, her heart leaks for joy as she agrees to loving it and wanting to have it.
'You want it, you earn it', the girl says tapping Lilly's cheek as she turns to leave.
Once it's done you can have the jewelry the girl says smiling brightly.
'it's just an easy one; Lilly agrees as she collects a package from the girl.

'hey'! Lilly says as she approaches Luna. 'you look prepared for today's event', she added.
Luna ignores her, she was acting to kind which is pretty not like her. It was the schools sport day, students in their various colourful sorry wears.
'Just what do you want', Luna confronts Lilly.
'I just wanted to be friends, infact I am so sorry for all the fights and everything I have put you through', Lilly says looking all sorry and repentant. ''Here', she says offering a box. 'a sign of my apology, and we can be friends again'. She added.
Luna collects the box but it really looks like Lilly was really sorry. She appreciated the gift and she leaves without another word.
'Where did you get that', Micaela asked Luna who was opening the box she got from Lilly.
'Lilly', Luna replied
Micaela was indeed surprise who will ever believe the fact that Lilly gifts and apologies for all her doings. Luna opens the box and lo and behold it was sea foods in it. Lobsters and shrimps which would be very attractive and delicious if digested.
'Am so hungry, should I give this a try', Luna asks Micaela
'Sure, if you want to', Micaela replies
Luna grabs two lobsters and throws in into her mouth, enjoying the taste. 'spicy', she said making Micaela laugh so hard. She takes the shrimps as well chewing them and licking her lips.
'may I; Micaela asks as she takes out from the box. She also wanted to try the spicy sea foods.
'Tasting weird', Luna quickly says as she drops the one in her hand back to the Box. 'I don't like how am feeling', Luna added trying to holding Micaela who was also about to try it out.
Luna skin was changing she now looking pale. And now she could tell she was poisoned. Micaela was in fear as she kept screaming for help she lays Luna to the floor as she runs in search of melchior.
She finds Melchior speaking to Chris and she immediately calls their attention. They head back to where Luna was this time get condition was worsened they had no idea of what to do as they parade in confusion.
Micaela was able to explain to them what Lilly had offered then and if was believed Lilly had messed with the food. Melchior goes in search of Lilly.
Lilly was in the cafeteria with her friends as she was jubilating in excitement. Melchiors drags get by the arm or of the place and dragging her to a corner he confronts her.
'What did you add in the food you gave Luna', he yelled at her
She was speechless she could tell something wasnt right and this time melchior was boiling in anger.
'Nothing!; She replied shaking in fear.
Just immediately Chris comes to call Melchior to tell him Luna case was getting worse as they ran back in haste to meet Luna.
They carried Luna to a room closing the door behind them to avoid attention from students or anyone. Micaela began to surf the web. 'What can hurt a werewolf', she clicked still shaking in fear.
'What are you doing, Google isn't going to help, let's take her to the clinic or call 911', he screams at the top of his voice.
Every one of them were trying to stay calm as Melchior holds Chris by the shoulder 'just be calm', he said trying to make his friend relax.
Luna eyes were getting all white she couldn't speak. It obvious whatever the poison was had began to hurt her from inside.
'What have you found', Melchior asks Micaela as he screams at her with tears in his eyes.
'Am trying to relate all am seeing to what is going on with her', she panicked.
'Please don't leave me; Melchior cried holding Luna close to him as he takes out her jacket and Chris assisting in giving her air as she was sweating profusely.
'I found something', Micaela screams 'Mercury!', she tells them.
'mercury',Chris asked still not understanding any thing.
'Mercury will kill a werewolf if it enters the blood', she replies now crying. 'We have to help her', she screams.
Chris wasn't understanding any of it but lucky enough as a great scholar who knows alot in chemistry he actually knows what a Mercury is.
'If it is swallowed, like from a broken thermometer, it mostly passes through your body and very little is absorbed. If you touch it, a small amount may pass through your skin, but not usually enough to harm you', he said to them as he explains
'But she ate it', melchior replies still holding Luna close to him trying keep her awake.
'according to research with mercury poisoning one can probably recommend chelation therapy, the method involves using medications, called chelators, that bind to mercury in your body and help it to exit your system; Chris added.
'where can we get it', Micaela asks as she panics.
'Chelators can be taken as a pill or injected, but I have no idea where to get the pills and I doubt you can see it around', Chris explains still trying to figure out what else to do.
Micaela was crying already has she throws her phone in anger
'But I know someone whom I think has the injection', Chris tells them.
Time wasn't on their side, Luna was fighting the poison helplessly, melchior carries her as Chris leads them all out of the school premises as they disguise under cover not to be seen or followed.
