"Mr.Taylor, I wished to tell this on your visit but since your school has started, I decided to send this letter.
First, I must apologise to you, Mr.Taylor. I shouldn't have taken those wands out. Those wands were sealed by my great grandfather after the incident that happened with its previous owners. Now I broke this seal and these wands are once again out in this world.
These wands are very special and dangerous. They are special because they have the ability to enhance the power and effects of magical spell cast by their owners. I must say that I have never seen any wands that could influence its owners magic like this. It is really unbelievable but there were many record about this so even I had to believe it. You might have even experienced this by yourself so I won't explain it. From the records of previous owners, these wands react to their owner's feelings and wishes. And that is the only way to use this ability of the wands. It won't let any other wizard except its owner to cast a spell. It will even repell and counter attack if someone tried to hurt their owners by using them.
This is the only benefit that had been noted in our family notes. But there are still many speculations that it has other abilities which are unknown. I was not able to read all of the book left behind my family's previous generations as there are records, notes and even books about their research and processes of their research left behind since more than 2000 years.
These wands are dangerous but these dangers are still unknown. Only thing that was mentioned in the books that I read was that there was some kind of a trial. Except for this vague information, there are only mentions of the previous wand owners. Somehow these previous owner's names were not in these records. I checked many book but these owner's names were always blanked which I find mysterious and also confusing. Our family keeps records of the all wands that they sold so it is really mysterious that all previous owners are unknown.
I don't want to say this but most of the previous wand owners mysteriously disappeared. These wands were taken by them but one day they appeared back in the shop. It was really mysterious and puzzling so our family tried to find about these owners many times but they failed everytime. No one could remember their name so it was really hard to find them. And as the time went by, my ancestors could not even remember their faces so they had to stop this search.
There was once a incident where one of the wand owners actually brought those two wands back to my great grandfather. But that person had already lost his mind. He kept muttering, 'dead, all dead, trial, dead, killed,...' My great grandfather asked him about those trial and other owner of the wand but he kept muttering those words. He admitted that he killed his partner while muttering strange things but before he could say more, those wands shot out the same golden light that hit you and Ms.Granger that day before he exploded right in front of my great grandfather. But this atleast gave my great grandfather the idea that the trial lead to the death on failure and no one could tell the contents of the trial to anyone else so he finally decided to create those boxes to seal these wands. He also speculated that the wand made their owners kill each other in case they failed their trial which was ever worse.
I didn't want to tell you these things, considering your age but not telling you this would probably lead to more danger. I feel extremely guilty about these things. I never expected that I would expose two young children to this kind of danger. I will help in every way so that I can make up for my mistake. Many people seem to be inquiring about you in the Diagon Alley. Some of them came to ask about your wand's weird patterns but I just made excuse about them being my failed experiments in creating good-looking wands. It won't convince them and they will come back again so I made the decision to remove my memories about these wands and hand them over to you. I hope you will be able to come to check my family records in your vacation. You can bring these memories back to me and I will lead you to see those records.
I hope you will keep those memories safe. They are contained in the small glass bottle attached in the package with this letter.
I am sorry for putting you in the danger, Mr.Taylor, But these wands should not be of any danger to you for your regular use for a while as they did not return for a few years after they chose their owners. So it can be said that the previous owners were alive for atleast few years after getting these wands.
Reminder: You can not throw these wands away or get rid of them in any way. They will just come back to you. Someone even tried to break them but he still found his wand in his hand the very next morning. And if you use other wands, they will simply explode. These words were highlighted in all of the books. I don't know who tried it or when, but they must be true. There should be record about these things so you might find them when you check them during your vacation.
Except for the trial, there is no other danger. These wands should even be considered as the best of all the wands in this world. They may help you in dire situations so I hope you will not stop using them because of the fear of this trial.

Adam was covered in sweat as he finished reading this letter. He glanced at the small bottle that he received with this letter, it had a silvery liquid like stuff inside it. Adam now knew that it was Ollivander's memories.
After looking at it for few seconds, Adam slumped down on his bed. He was courageous and adventurous but not someone who would just be calm without any worry when he just got to know that he would die. And he would die because of his own wand which was even more unacceptable for him. He had expected his wand to make him stronger with all these thing it had shown him. But now he felt like stupid for taking these things for granted. He couldn't help but remember Dumbledore's speech, "Nothing is free in this world. If you receive something, You must pay something in return."
But in this case, Adam had to pay with not just his life but also Hermione's life. And if those crazy speculations are true then he will be killed by his best friend and previous life's crush or he will be the one to kill her. They might also just explode or mysteriously disappear. Worst of all, people would not even remember their names. Their parents will remember they had a son or a daughter but they will not remember their name and face or maybe they will just forget them altogether.
For so many days, Adam was happy with his wand's effect but now that he got to know about this new danger, he could not help but feel fear emerging in his heart. He was just about to be 12 years old; he didn't want to die yet. Especially when he had died at the early age of 18 in his previous life. He didn't want to end up a virgin in two consecutive lives. He had reached this magic world that he had dreamed of for so long. He didn't want to part with it yet. His mind was completely blank as he could not think of anything right now with all the fear engulfing his mind.
"Are you okay?" Harry asked as he noticed horrified look on Adam's face. Harry wanted to talk to Adam for the past week but Ron didn't let him do it. Now that Ron was not in the room, he wanted to talk with Adam but he was disappointed with Adam's response.
"Oh! I am okay. Just a little tired. I will just sleep. Goodnight." Adam turned over and closed his eyes. He was really feeling mentally tired after reading this letter so he just fell asleep. Somehow he could still sleep without any worry of this upcoming death.
Adam was feeling a terrible headache as he woke up early in the morning. He walked out of his room after changing clothes. It was saturday so he didn't have to worry about the classes. Adam arrived in the common room where Hermione was waiting for him. Adam didn't know what he was thinking but he just mindlessly stared at Hermione. He was feeling confused when he saw Hermione. He didn't know if he should tell her about this or not. There were many thoughts in his mind as he looked at her.
"Are you okay?... You look terrible." Hermione asked worriedly when she saw absent-minded Adam who had pale face and swollen eyes.
"I am fine. Just didn't get a proper sleep. Let's go. Today, we don't have to worry about classes or others." Adam said and walked out of the common room. Hermione felt weird when she looked at Adam. She was worried but she still followed him silently without saying anything. She was still thinking about Daphne's LOVE LETTER to Adam.
After having a good exercise and breakfast, Adam went back to his room and slumped down on his bed. He didn't know what to think. He was worried about his wand. He was worried about his life. He was also worried about Hermione's safety.
There was nothing to do so Adam just stayed in his room for the rest of the day. His mind was groggy as he could not properly think of anything. He could feel something changing inside his body but he could understand what was happening.
Harry once again asked him if he was okay but Adam just ignored him and kept staring at the ceiling. He even skipped his lunch, which made Hermione even more worried who had seen his pale face early in the morning. She stopped Harry and asked if Adam was okay but Harry's answer made her even worried,
"He didn't say anything when I asked him if he was okay. He just ignored me and kept staring at the wall."
In the evening, She nervously waited for Adam in the common room for a long time but Adam didn't come out of his room. At late night she finally went back to sleep in hope of seeing him tomorrow morning for the morning exercise.
Adam was sleeping peacefully when his head started hurting which forcibly woke him up. He could hear loud ringing of the bells in his head. He looked around and saw that it was still middle of the night and Harry-Ron were also sleeping peacefully so he knew that it was only him who could hear this sound. He quickly opened his system as he had a faint feeling that it was his system that made this sound.

Adam saw this notices as soon as he opened his system window. He was shocked to see so many notices. It was the first time his system had shown him this kind of notices. He was shocked but he was also relieved that his system protected him from this Confundus charm. He knew that Confundus charm could confuse people into thinking or doing something, which could be really dangerous. This was the first time he had seen this function in his system so he was also pleased with it.
Adam looked around in the room but except for Harry and Ron, there was no one else in the room.
'Maybe that person left after failing so many times. But why would someone want to use Confundus charm on me? Is it Lucius Malfoy's plan?' Adam thought in his mind. He was now even more worried. With this incident he knew that he was not safe even in his dormitory room, let alone entire Hogwarts. He really felt that he should stop dilly-dallying and start to train himself to become stronger as soon as possible. He had expected himself to be safe, from Lucius and other people who investigated him, in the Hogwarts so he was taking his time to explore the castle before starting his magic training. But now it looked like he could not live peacefully even in the Hogwarts.
There were still few hours before the end of the curfew but Adam didn't have any thoughts of going back to sleep. He had many thoughts in his mind as he had to think of new ways to get rid of these problems. But he was not as worried as he was yesterday, somehow his mind had calmed down. He felt his mind become more clearer and calmer, just like the time when he had finished his duel with Draco. Adam didn't notice it at that time but now he could feel his mind was getting used to these problems and troubling situations.
It was weird but he felt like he was really growing up. He had always thought of himself as a 18 year old boy because of his previous life but now he could feel that he was definitely not acting like a 18 years old when he faced those situations in the past month. Many thoughts were mysteriously appearing inside his head. The problems that he got to know because of these thoughts were not know by him, atleast till this moment.
First he thought of the time when he went to the Diagon Alley and saw Hermione in the Flourish and Blotts. He wanted to impress Hermione
so he went ahead and mindlessly provoked Lucius, who was also a powerful death eater and a pure blood elitist. This could be considered an instant death if not for those hidden pure-blood families existing in this world. Everyone considered him as a member of a hidden pure-blood family which provided him with the safety for now but what if the real members of these families know about this? Will they just sit around and let a muggle boy wear their family's title on his head? From the rumours that Adam heard about them, The answer was absolutely no. They would probably just make him disappear without anyone knowing about it.
Later his thoughts drifted to the time when he met Sophie Greengrass. He accepted Sophie's request because he saw her crying in front of him, an outsider. He would've definitely helped Astoria even without her request but would he actually make the unbreakable vow to accept this task, which could even endanger his life, from someone he met for the first time? The answer was definitely no.
He was adventurous but not a fool, who would jump into something without knowing the possible danger. But this was still not that bad as he got that book occlumency and legilimency from Sophie Greengrass.
Then he thought of his previous life. He had imagined many times what would he do if there really is Hogwarts in his previous life but answer to this question was always to learn powerful magic before starting to explore this mysterious castle and this magical world.
But what did he do since knowing about the hogwarts in this world?
He just practised some useless magic to get some easy gold out of them. He could've received more gold if had practised some good spells. But It could still be explained as he was still new to the magic but what about after his arrival in the Hogwarts? All he did since he came to the hogwarts was to attend classes, complete boring assignments and roam around like an idiot just to get little gold from the task, even thought he was not in a real need of the gold right now. He had an enemy like Lucius but all he did was these useless things. He could use gold to buy spells but would that save him from someone like Lucius? Answer to this question was also a big No. The only thing that could save him from Lucius was his own strength.
And if all of this was not enough, he even tried to make Snape angry by those words about his questions just because Snape talked to him in angry tone. He liked Snape's character in his previous life. And this Snape looked a lot more tolerant and nice compared to the one in the original story. He had even treated him nicely during the breakfast by explaining those things about potions and giving him the chance to learn the Sectumsempra curse. But all he did in return was to say those words and try to make Snape angry just because of his childish impulsiveness. Snape could even help him against Lucius if he could make good impression on Snape but all he did in the end was to get angry because of those few words that Snape said to him. Adam could not help but ask himself, 'How childish did I actually act in this past month?'
Today Adam could think properly about these things. He knew all of this happened just because he still thought of himself as a 18 year old boy from his previous life. If he woke up as 12 year boy then it would've been right as he was still 18 year old boy a day before he woke up but since he woke up as a little baby, he had been accustomed to this life as a little kid for nearly 12 years. He was now used to his mom-dad's pampering. They always did everything for him so he was no longer the loner 18 year old boy who did most of the things by himself. After being child for 12 years in this world, he had already turned into a child in his heart. Or maybe there was even a bigger problem with his mind and thinking process that he had not yet noticed. It was not like he was always getting reborn in a magical world so he did not know the consequences of this kind of thing. There might really be some problems that appeared in his mind because of this transmigration.
'Maybe I should really stop myself from thinking about my previous life. Everything is getting really confusing because of this. Maybe I should control my out of control emotions and get stronger first. Learning more about the magic might actually help me see if there are really any problems with me. Now that I am not safe even in the Hogwarts, learning more magic will also help me protect myself and my parents better." Adam thought to himself before deciding to check his system first and make plans for his future starting from it,

Adam noticed some changes in his system window but most eye-catching change was the addition of special ability. It was not there when he had checked his system window last time so it was a pleasant surprise. Adam always wanted a special ability after knowing about the Malfoy family's special ability that made them very powerful in battles.
'Do I have to wait for someone to use their special ability for it to appear in the shop?' Adam thought to himself when he saw that there were no special abilities available in his system shop.
Adam had seen new information appear in front of his name but he didn't worry about it when he saw that one of the magic being used on him was homonoculous charm. Adam had read about this charm and he knew that it was the charm placed on the marauder's map which could see everyone's location in the castle. So it was obvious that it was marauder's map which was locating him in the castle. And the marauder's map was with Weasely twins so it was not that big of deal for his location to be revealed on that map.
Adam finished looking at his spell shop which was not changed at all. He finally looked at the secret space map as he wanted to find a place for the actual combat as he had already decided to learn new magic which can be used in the fights.
To Adam's surprise, there were actually 7 secret spaces around Hogwarts in the range of 10KM which was not that big of a distance if Adam learned to Apparate. Adam opened every single special space's location but all of them had 30+ recommended magic level, which was way out of Adam's reach. To his surprise, three of these seven spaces were above level 40 and all of them were in the forbidden forest. Adam couldn't help but wonder why these spaces were not yet cleared. But he didn't continue to think about it as he had other things to check.
Adam's system map also had a new function which let him search for secret space according to the level he wanted. He searched for the level 10 secret spaces and he even found it but it was out of his map's range. His map could only show the direction. Precise location was not available but now Adam atleast knew where to go if he wants to enter a secret space recommended for his magic level.
Just when Adam was about to close his system window, he saw that his age had changed from 11 to 12. He exclaimed in his mind, "Sh!t ! It's my birthday. I forgot to send Athena to mom-dad. They told me to send her back a day before my birthday."
Athena was the name that Adam had given to his owl. After spending some time bonding with her before his departure to hogwarts, he had found out that she was really smart and also really fierce when she hunted for her pray. He loved this owl because of this so Adam had searched for a name that will be befitting for her nature, which is why he later decided to name it after the greek goddess of wisdom and warfare, Athena. Both George and Olivia laughed at this name but he decided not to change it as his owl seemed to like it.
Adam decided to send his owl as soon as the curfew ends, but till then Adam decided to check his special points shop. There were many change in his system so he was wondering if there will be any changes in his special points shop as well. This shop was weird as it would only show food items when he didn't search for anything so it was hard to find if there were any changes. Adam took his time to try and think about many things in this shop but he didn't find anything new.
'It would've been better if this shop sold magical things.' Adam sighed as he thought about this. As he was about to close the special points shop, sudden change appeared in the shop and different types of brooms appeared in it.
Adam was dumbfounded with this change as he could see that those were not normal brooms but flying brooms. Adam was sure that there were no magical items in this shop when he searched for it last time during his experiments. He thought of a possibility, 'Maybe I will get magical items in this shop as my magical level increases.'
Adam also noticed small glass bottles in different shapes which were propably used as potion vials/containers but Adam ignored them as his eyes were stuck on broomsticks.
They were just flying brooms that appeared in the shop but Adam was happy with it as he didn't have a flying broom right now. First-years were forbidden to bring their own brooms and he could not store anything except books and potion ingredients in his item box so he did not buy it when he was in the Diagon Alley but now he could buy it and use it in whatever ways he wanted to, And most of all, he could even store it in his item box as he will be buying it from his system so there would be no way for anyone to find about them if he doesn't want to show them these things.
Adam really wanted to learn how to fly which could help him travel and also flee from danger so he bought two flying brooms. Even though prices of these brooms were high but he still wanted to get one for him and Hermione. One of them was 'Cleansweep seven' with 40,000 special points price while the other one was 'Nimbus 2000' with the price of 80,000 special points. Adam had seen these brooms in Diagon Alley but he did not buy them because of the school rules and also because he was tight on the Galleons. He had only 100 Galleons left after spending rest on the books, hang outs in the Diagon Alley and also some Galleons for his accommodation in the leaky cauldron for a whole month. He had bought so many books that he was sure that he could not finish them at least for a half year if he reads them everyday. Hermione would borrow books from him every 2-3 days, which surprised Adam as even after spending most of the time of the day in classes and exploring castle with him, she still had the energy to continue reading these books. It was not surprising that she was not an early bird till now.
Adam wanted to practise on the grounds but he was worried about professors spotting them so he thought about the unknown location for a while before making a decision in his mind.
'I think it is time to visit that room.' Adam thought as he got up from his bed and walked out of the room after changing his clothes. After looking at these system changes, Adam guessed that his yesterday's groggy feeling was probably because of these changes. He had felt like something was changing inside his body but he could not point it out. Now he knew that his system underwent these changes so yesterday's feeling also had to be the effect of these changes. But now he had to face Hermione who should be angry at him as he had ignored her for a whole day, even after she sent Harry with a message for Adan to meet her.
As Adam walked out of the room, he saw Hermione waiting for him right at the stairs that lead to the boys' dormitory. He knew he was going to hear a long long lecture so he immediately held both of his hands in the air, signalling his surrender when Hermione noticed him walk down the stairs.
Adam quickly opened his mouth to explain, "Hermione, I know you must be angry but I was not feeling well so I didn't respond to your invitation. I..."
Hermione ,who saw Adam coming towards her with her swollen red eyes, looked happy but still worried. She had not slept well last night thinking that her best friend was probably very sick. She had even visited Madam Pomfrey but she didn't know if Adam was really sick so Madam Pomfrey kicked her out of the hospital wing for disturbing her patients.
"How are you feeling? Are you okay now?" Hermione asked as she walked closer to Adam and looked from his toes to head several times. She added, "And why do you think I will be angry at you? I was just worried that you might be really sick."
Adam felt warmth in his heart when he saw her like this but he didn't say anything as he was lost in his own thoughts. He had read Ollivander's letter yesterday and now he was stuck between two choices, whether to tell her about this or not. If he told her about these things, he would probably ruin her school life. She would constantly be worried about these things which would have a really bad effect on her. So in the end, he decided to hide these things for a while and wait for the right time. Adam answered, "I am great. I just had headache, nothing big. Sorry for making you worried. You look like you didn't sleep well."
Hermione face was finally relieved of her worries when she heard his words but she immediately looked away, trying to hide her face from being seen. She had seen her face in the mirror as soon as she woke up so she knew how horrible it looked. She lightly snorted at him and replied, "It's all your fault that I had to wait here until late night. But it's good that you are okay. Now let's go and finish our exercise. I will tell you about the things that happened yesterday, you'll definitely be surprised by this."
Listening to her tone, Adam knew that something big must have happened so he was also curious. They walked out of the common room. Adam could see that Hermione was not in the condition to exercise so he asked her to walk with him to the owlery. Hermione didn't reject his offer so both of them chatted while walking towards the owlery. During their walk, Adam got to know about the things that happened yesterday which surprised him
Adam was surprised because Draco and Harry had already set up a duel. Draco insulted Harry's mother which made both of them fight. Then Harry mentioned Draco's duel with Adam which caused Draco to challenge Harry for a duel in a fit of anger. Always being the reckless one, Harry immediately accepted the duel and decided to meet in the courtyard at night for the duel. Adam knew this duel was going to happen but it was supposed to be after the flying class. This event had been transferred to an earlier date and it was also Adam who had indirectly made this event to shift from its original date. If it was not for Adam's duel with Draco, Draco would probably not act like this even if Harry said few things to him. Adam's victory over him had become a great humiliation for him so he could not control himself when it was mentioned by Harry.
"What do we do? We can't let them leave after the curfew. We have to stop them or our house will lose points." Hermione asked worriedly. She didn't want to lose their house points for stupid behaviour of two idiots.
Adam thought if he should stop this duel or not as it will also be the day when Harry, Ron and Hermione were supposed to see the three-headed dog, Fluffy. Adam also wanted to see this three-headed dog so he decided not to stop them, "Let's leave them alone for now. I don't think they'll actually go for the duel. They don't even know any spell yet."
Hermione wanted to say something but she swallowed her words and remained silent. Adam knew she was not going to give up like this so he didn't have to worry about this. He had to meet with Daphne on the astronomy tower anyway so he could just follow them before going to meet her. The time for their meeting was 11PM so it was perfect for him to follow them at that time.
Both of them arrived at the owlery. There were many owls staying here as students' owls would stay here with the school owls when they are not needed for sending letters.
Adam did not have enough patience to look around for his owl so he just shouted his owl's name, "ATHENA!!!"
As soon as he shouted this name, Hermione burst into laughter. She laughed for a while before calming down when Adam's Owl came flying towards them. It was a snow-white owl with two black spots on its chest. It looked beautiful as it glided down and gracefully glided down on Adam's shoulder. Hermione looked at this beautiful owl and asked, "You gave this owl the name, Athena?"
"What is wrong with it? It's a good name, isn't it Athena?" Adam said as he caressed his owl with a finger. Owl responded by touching Adam's face with its wings. It looked like it wanted to caress him back. Adam turned his head towards Hermione and added, "Look, she likes this name too."
Hermione chuckled once again at this scene of owl and owner caressing each other. Adam looked at his owl, which looked at Hermione's bushy hairs with great interest. Adam smiled and whispered, "You can sit there. It will be very comfortable."
As soon as Adam said this, Athena flapped her wings couple of times before slowly falling onto Hermione's head. Hermione shrieked at this but Athena didn't care about her. She had her owner's approval so she didn't care what Hermione thought about this. She slowly and carefully moved its claws in Hermione's hairs to find a suitable position to sit.
"Get her down. My hairs..." Hermione spoke but was interrupted in the middle of sentence by Adam.
"I can't. She is retaliating against you because you laughed at her beautiful name. Maybe you should apologize" Adam laughed as he saw Hermione not moving a bit, in case owl falls down from her head. Adam felt amused by this when he saw how Hermione even forgot that owls could actually fly, with Athena sitting on her head. He took out his camera and quickly took few photos. Hermione was angry but she still apologized to Athena for laughing. But Athena seemed to like it on her hairs so she did not even budge. It went on for a few minutes before Adam finally told her to go back home to see if mom-dad had any letters for him.
