CHAPTER 10 - EVENING ON THE YACHT
A few days later the hotel organized a dinner cruise around the hotel at sea. The theme of the party was to dress up as mermaids and mermen; as the hotel management was planning on taking some photographs. All the guests at the hotel were on the Yacht by seven in the evening and they set sail on the sea surrounding the hotel. On closer look Natasha thought the Captain of the Yacht looked very similar to Paul plus he was looking quite dapper. The Captain was giving a relay of the locality and history of the hotel and the country. Drinks and dinner was being served with the assistance of the waiters and waitresses once again. It was a six course dinner at a formal setting. All the guests ate to their hearts content and was enjoying dessert which was an Ice cream flambe, when the hotel manager asked them to gather at the deck in fifteen minutes time to take a formal photograph under the moon lit sky. After around one and a half hours the cruise returned to the hotel and the guests disembarked on to the beach surrounding the hotel. There was lamps lit along the and beach pathway and one could hear super music which was sounding truly sensational.
Natasha Alvarez was dressed in a sea green evening dress and looked quite the vision and to die for, whilst Damien Ducroix was looking his usual handsome and elegant self. He was dressed in light blue attire. Ariane was looking gorgeous in white whilst Oliver was dressed in dark blue. All the guests looked beautiful and elegant and they were in the best of moods. The young guests and the not so young guests were dancing to fantastic music in Natasha's opinion. They played songs from some of her favorite musicians such as Shakira, Bon Jovi, Jay Lo, Celine Dion, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga to name some of them!
Everyone was having a great time when Damien and Natasha decided to wander down the beach to get some romantic time together under the moon beams. As they were standing near some rocks Damien thought he saw someone peeping through the bushes. He was itching to get closer to have a look when Natasha sensing something was wrong, asked him what was bothering him? She managed to prevent Damien from going to explore further as she did not want to be left alone under the circumstances. Suddenly three young men appeared from behind the bushes, they were dark skinned and were dressed only in shorts. As Natasha became agitated the couple hurriedly turned towards the direction of the hotel. As if the heavens had intervened Ariane and Oliver along with some other guests came looking for the couple. On seeing lots more people approaching the three natives ran back to the bushes. When Damien mentioned this incident to the Hotel Manager he replied there are some villagers close by who sometimes come towards the hotel when there are events taking place. He cautioned them from wandering away from the crowd. Damien and Natasha were feeling a little sad that their romantic interlude got interrupted but was very glad to have Ariane and Oliver as friends who always looked out for them.
Later that night, Damien felt a strong need to protect his girl and decided they should leave the hotel and get back to their families. Thus he contacted a Pilot friend of his from the Air force and asked to send a chopper to fly them back to the city. So, in turn he told Natasha they have to leave their romantic getaway. She in turn beckoned Ariane and Oliver to join them on their journey home.
The happy foursome got into shorts and shirts the next day and awaited the chopper on the beach. And they were yet quite certain they saw eyes peeping at them from beyond the bushes again. Just then the chopper arrived and the foursome got in and waived goodbye to the Hotel by the sea.
