Meredith's eyelids fluttered open, waking slowly while her eyes quickly scanned the dungeon around her . The cold of the still air seeped through her flesh and froze her bones.
The icy feeling that flew through her body wasn't from the low temperatures in the room but from the water that had been thrown on her.
Lifting her gaze she saw that her wrists were still bound together by the chains.
All of this was real..she was still here.
