It was a really shocking and frightening experience. Both Melva and Vance literally needed to sit down and take a moment to recover from the magic that had been casted upon them. The feeling of despair and fear was so overwhelming that her heart beating against her chest was the only thing she could hear.
Being unable to do anything when she saw someone being burned alive in front of her eyes was a very terrifying experience. It was the most horrible thing she had ever been through. She could feel herself shaking uncontrollably. She did nothing when someone was getting killed right in front of her.
If only she was strong enough, she could have saved her. If only she had been more prepared in dealing with the necromancer, the poor woman could have avoided being trapped in her spell. If only she had sought help instead of coming here alone, the woman could have been alive now.
