Rosetta had not stopped complaining since they had woken her up to visit Vance in the prison. She kept mentioning how they had ruined her beauty sleep. Seeing Vance was not something she was very eager to do and that the others could do it in her stead. The spells had drained so much of her energy that she was too tired to do anything. She clearly needed a longer sleep than a mere two hours, justifying her constant complaints.
Melva had no idea how it felt like to have her energy drained because of casting magic spells, so she did not say anything to Rosetta and let her vent her pent up irritation. The others simply found it too bothersome to say anything when she would only counter them with more complaints.
A guard escorted them once they got out of Alden's residential building. He must be the one that had informed Alden about Vance's regaining his consciousness. Inside the prison building, everyone had their weapons in their hands and stood guard in every corner.
