Rosetta dragged Melva along with her until they were out of the cave, leaving a thick fog behind them to cover their tracks. Having her wand out, Rosetta simultaneously lit up the way before them while continuously emitting trails of fog behind them. Melva had no way of knowing whether there were people following them or not because of how thick the fog was.
Even after they came out from the cave, they were running into the woods, but it was still dark outside and Melva had to depend on the lighting from the tip of her wand. Rosetta occasionally turned back to make sure that they were not being followed. They were still far from being safe.
"Thank you for saving me, Rosetta," said Melva panting, in the middle of running. "What happened?"
"Save the talking for later, will you?" hissed Rosetta in an urgent manner, moving forward and continuously weaving her way through the thick trees. "We are in the middle of something here if you cannot see!"
