"They are fine," said Geneva cheerfully. She looked overjoyed that Melva was not angry at her for not telling her about her family during their first meeting.
Melva could not say she was not angry at all. She was kind of pissed and she thought it was unfair to hide it from her, but she recovered fast because she realised there was no use being angry at Geneva for something that had already taken place in the past. The most important thing was that she knew now and there was still a chance for her to meet them.
"Will you let me meet them? Can you help arrange our meeting?" asked Melva eagerly. She wanted to get to know her family.
Family was something she had always yearned to have from looking at the other children in Ichorhold with their parents. She always wondered when she was small why she did not have a family when the others had. The mayor had never told her anything about them. When she asked the mayor about her family, he only said he never met them.
