One drop. Two drops. And then all of a sudden, it was raining heavily. The showering rain extinguished all the fire Melva had started, leaving some of the grass walls still standing tall. Melva was no longer able to start another fire under the rain. The fairies must despise them intensely.
"Seriously?" yelled Melva, looking at the sky above her as if complaining to whoever it was that had caused the rain from up there.
Everything was perfect. Her plan worked. The winged lion-like creatures ran away because of the fire. They were burning their way through the grass walls. Nothing hindered them as they were nearing their way out of the maze. Everything was perfect, until the fairies decided to ruin them by showering them with rainwater.
