"Where the hell am I?"
Slowly opening his eyes, Alic got up from the ground.
He was atop a hall, flowers of different colours surrounded him with a great oak tree by his side. His clothes were stained with mud and dirt, most likely from laying around.
Alic hurriedly walked over to the oak tree, " Looks climbable."
As soon as he said those words, Alic immediately started to scale the tree but to his dismay, there was nothing.
A thick cloud of mist obscured the view making it difficult for anyone to see anything.
Sighing, Alic got back down to the ground before grabbing a stick, the size of his arm.
"If I want to get things done then I gotta do it myself." Muttered Alic under his breath as he began to wage war against the fog.
LIke a blind man, Alic waved the stick around, beating at the air as he trudged down the hill. Honestly, he felt like a little kid again.
'Where am I?' This was a thought that repeated in Alic's brain over and over again, only there was no answer to this question.
🌫🌫🌫🌫🌫🌫
He had been wandering around for quite a while now, not that Alic could calculate the time though. None of his belongings were with him and the only thing that could measure time was useless as its hands no longer moved.
Instead the clock played the melody when open, one that to Alic was strangely nostalgic but he couldn't remember where he heard it from…
'Stupid old watch' thought Alic, wondering why sell a watch that was broken.
Suddenly, the music stopped and a chill ran down Alic's spine.
The mist immediately parted away like a curtain and his surroundings changed. No longer was Alic trudging through a muddy field of nothingness instead he was in the middle of a long hallway. The stick in his hand,
"GARGH!"
There was no stick, in its place was a writhing snake, lashing out against its captor.
"Shit!" On instinct, Alic threw the snake as far as he could, the reptile letting out a loud hiss before exploding in a million butterflies-all of them flying straight to him. '
Ducking down, Alic could only believe that this was simply a dream although his heart told him otherwise.
Calming himself down, Alic moved on.
It never ended.
The hallway.
There was no end!
It seemed like the more Alic wandered straight ahead, the more the hall twisted and turned, growing as if it had a mind of its own.
"Is there even an exit?!" Questioned Alic aloud.
At that very moment, a bottle fell from the ceiling landing on top of Alic's head.
"OW!"
Massaging his aching scalp, Alic fumbled with the bottle attempting not to drop it before taking a closer look.
[FILL ME]
"With what?"
The words changed this time it read, "BLOOD?! What is this kind of sick joke?"
No words were formed on the bottle, only the words [blood] in bold.
"Find but only one drop."
The rest of the instructions were simple enough, all the bottle needed was a drop of blood and in return it would give the offerer a wish.
Taking his thumb to his lips, Alic bit hard.
'This was not as easy as they do in shows!' Screamed Alic internally as he made a tear through his skin. The blood was already flowing out as he tried not to cry. Hurriedly, he quickly stuck his thumb into the bottle letting the blood drip down.
The words on the bottle immediately changed.
[wish?]
Wiping the blood away onto his pants, Alic answered, " I WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE!"
He really should have thought of it carefully. The walls then started to crack away before the ground trembled, crumbling away. A loud rumbling sound filled the space.
"I WANT A REFUND!"
🕳🕳🕳🕳🕳🕳
"This is like Alice in wonderland" Alic couldn't help but point out as he continued to fall. He didn't know how long he had been in suspension but there were many strange things.
For example, the objects that fell with him were acting up at random and fell in reverse motion. Voices and music all played in the background driving him crazy.
"Are you finished?" Asked Alic deadpanned, already having enough of the nonsense.
He instantly regretted it however as everything stopped and Alic began to fall even faster than before.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
"Plop!"
Bouncing up and down, Alic found himself landing on a mushroom. A giant one, mind you. He was still the same height as before but it seemed like some things just grew in size.
"All I want is a way to go back home…what did I do to deserve this?" Moaned Alic as he slid down the mushroom. He was filthy and tired but it seemed that Fate hated him, at that very moment Alic no longer cared about anything at all.
"I'm late, I'm late!" Exclaimed somebody,
A dash of white cross Alic takes him by surprise.
"The white rabbit?" Said a puzzled Alic as he saw a cartoon white rabbit on the other side, its swirly pink eyes were large and wide showing his internal panic. There was little time to think though because the white rabbit quickly spirited away, down a rough dirt path.
"WAIT!" Shouted Alic as he ran after it. The path like the hall was long and narrow, long, thick branches stuck out from the tall grass, striking Alic in the face and slowing him down but Alic didn't care ,because as far as he could remember the White rabbit was one of the keys to get out of wonderland. That and the Cheshire cat of course, but it wasn't around so he just had to chase after the rabbit.
The white rabbit didn't seem to notice Alic as it continued to hop and sprint all the way into a burrow. Huffing, Alic stopped to take a deep breath before getting down on his knees, sticking his head into the entrance.
"Hello! MR RABBIT! ARE YOU HERE?!" Hollered Alic, his voice echoing throughout the pitch black hole.
There was no response. Sighing, Alic realised what he needed to do. Rolling up his sleeves, Alic positioned himself at the edge of the hole before swinging back and forth like how he would whenever he was on the monkey bars.
"One, two…three!" On the last count, Alic let go and pushed himself into the darkness.
🎆 🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆
"This is wonderland?"
Wonderland was very different from what Alic imagined. Instead of a woodland country filled with whatever craziness man could think of, the wonderland in front of him was that of a crowded Victorian town. People dressed in the most exquisite clothes walked up and down the street, balloons and cheers filled the air.
Standing in the middle was a very disoriented Alic.
His appearance itself was an eyesore amidst the beautiful scene but strangely enough, nobody seemed to notice him. He probably wouldn't have moved an inch had it not been for a voice.
"What the hell? If you're going to just stand around then you'd best face the queen."
A chill ran down Alic's spine as he stared at the owner of the voice, "….Ru?"
