As he walked out of the beginners' village, Alex made a quick calculation of how much damage he could do with the sword.
Without using the skill, the maximum damage he can do is 15, corresponding to 10 sword damage plus 5 his strength, and if you use the Cutting Strike skill, the damage reaches a maximum of 27, however, you have to take into account the opponent's defense. Depending on where the blow is landed, the enemy's defense is ignored.
While he was doing the math, the new players were killing rabbits and chickens that were near the entrance to the village.
Normally, it would take 30 days for players to reach level 10, which is the requirement to leave the beginners village. It's really little EXP that is gained in the beginning.
Alex ignored the players and went deeper.
"Look, there's a rookie going to the forest!" Said one of the players.
"*Snort* He must be thinking, just wait until he dies." Said another player. Soon, everyone present there began to talk about Alex who had entered the forest.
Walking a little, Alex saw a wolf ahead, it was gray in color.
'If there's one here, it means there must be others around.' Alex thought. Wolves don't usually walk alone.
As Alex has vast battle experience, killing this wolf is very easy.
Alex drew his sword and ran to the wolf.
"Slicing Blow!"
-20
It appeared on top of the logo's head, but that wasn't enough to kill him. The logo was stunned that out of nowhere someone had appeared and attacked, but he soon recovered and attacked Alex. It was a claw swipe toward Alex's neck.
But he dodged and lashed out with the sword in one lunge.

The wolf died from it. That's because the effect of the Cutting Strike skill was still taking 5% of the wolf's HP every second. It is worth mentioning that it is 5% of the total HP value. This ability is terrifying, and if strengthened, it can kill with one blow.
[You killed a lv2 'Grey Wolf', you gained 100 EXP, for killing an enemy 1 level higher than you, you gain 10% more EXP, totaling 110 EXP.]
With that, Alex continues hunting. In six hours, he had already killed over 100 gray wolves, and that gave 11,000 EXP.
[Attention, the boss will appear.]
When you kill too much of a creature, the boss has a chance to show up.
Suddenly, a six-foot-tall logo appeared, he had white fur and very sharp teeth. The wolf ran to Alex and tried to bite his neck, but Alex managed to dodge in time.
Taking advantage of the opening the wolf gave, Alex executed the slashing blow.
"Slicing Blow!"
-27 CRITICAL
And right after that, the number 100 started to appear every second. That was the effect of the Cutting Strike skill. As the wolf lost 100 HP per second, this means that the wolf's total HP is 2000!
If Alex was just dodging, the ability's own effect would kill the logo.
The wolf was very angry at having received Alex's blow. He then moved his claw to attack Alex, but he dodged quickly, and pierced towards the white wolf's stomach.

And with that, the soon screamed in pain, and quickly backed away from Alex. The wolf started to flee.
"Even if you run away, you will still die." Alex said.
He couldn't keep up with the white wolf as he is much faster. But soon, a notification appeared for him.
[You killed Boss 'White Wolf (Iron)' lv8, you gained 5000 EXP, for killing an enemy 7 levels above you, you gain 70% more EXP, totaling 8500 EXP.]
"The advantage of being at level 1 is this, the disadvantage is that I won't get the 5 stat points for each level up, but it doesn't matter, there are several ways to get stat points." muttered Alex.
[You were the first to kill a Level 8 Boss, do you want to announce your name?]
"Not."
[World Announcement: The 'Unknown' player was the first to kill a Level 8 "White Wolf (Iron)" Boss.]
This caused the uproar on the 'Path of Supremacy', all the players started talking about it.
Where the white wolf was, an iron chest appeared. Alex went to him and soon the information appeared.
[Boss Chest (Iron) +: When you open the chest, you gain 2 dexterity points and 1 rank (Iron).]
(N/A: The ratings I will put in the auxiliary chapter.)
Alex looked at how much EXP he had.
[EXP: 19,500]
He then clicked the "+" in the chest to strengthen it.
-100 EXP
[Boss Chest (Iron) +1: When you open the chest, you gain 4 dexterity points and 2 rank (Iron).]
Doubled the prize!
He then clicked as far as he could.
-500 EXP
-1200 EXP
-2000 EXP
-5000 EXP
-8000 EXP
'That's fine, it's always good to leave some EXP in reserve.' Alex thought. He then looked at the trunk.
[Boss Chest (Iron) +6: When you open the chest, you gain 128 dexterity points, 6 rank (Iron) and 1 bronze rank item. It belongs to Alex.]
Each time he strengthened the chest, the dexterity points doubled, but the items didn't, he only increased the quantity, and quality of an item.
"As always, this has always been helpful in my past life, it's a shame I was limited after I joined a guild." Alex said to himself.
In his past life, he decided to join a guild, and they assigned an instructor role to novices, and this resulted in his stagnant strength.
Alex then opened the trunk.
[You opened a chest of (Iron) +6, and acquired 128 Dexterity Points, 6 Rank items (Iron) and 1 Bronze Rank item.]
Alex looked at the items, but it was a shame that everyone classified as (Iron) had level restriction, it would have to be at least level 5. But, the item classification (Bronze) had no restriction.
[Orb of Attributes (Bronze) +:
Description: An orb that, if used, gives the user 2 attribute points. Consumable item.]
"I'll save this for later, when I have a large amount of EXP I will strengthen it." Alex said. He then put everything in the inventory.
"Status." Alex said.
[Name: The Hunter
Class: Versatile
Level 1
Next Level: 1 Grade Item (Iron) minimum.
HP: 100
Mana: 100
Strength: 5
Defense: 5
Dexterity: 133
Vitality: 10
Intelligence: 10
Luck: 2
Attribute Points: 0
Skills (Active): ????? (MAX) Cutting Strike (+1).
Abilities (Passive): None.
EXP: 2,700]
If a level 26 person put all the stat points gained by leveling up into dexterity, he would have nearly as much dexterity points.
While Alex was distracted thinking about the items, someone approached him. It was a man with two horns protruding from the top of his head, he had some blue scales all over his body, and on his back, a nice pair of pale blue wings, and further down, a tail.
'He finally appeared, the hidden NPC, Frost Dragon.' Alex thought when he saw the dragon-man coming towards him.
"Young man I ventured, I saw your feat of killing a white wolf. I was looking for a strong person like you to help me." Said the dragon-man.
"Oh, I hope I can help you then." Alex said with a smile.
"But, I still want to make sure you really fit. There's a cave not far from here, it looks like a spider's lair, if you can bring me the leg of the spider queen, I'll give you a mission of great importance, of course which will also have a great reward." Said the dragon-man.
[You received a mission!]
[The leg of the spider queen (Hidden):
Description: Frost dragon Yun Zao wants to test his strength for another mission. Objective: Bring a leg of the spider queen into the spider's lair.
Grade: B-
Reward: 5 silver coins and 2,000 EXP
Failure: Chain quest cannot continue.
Accept?]
"Yes." Alex said.
"I'll wait for you outside the cave." Said Yun Zao.
Alex nodded and followed him to where the cave was, as soon as they arrived, Alex saw the cave with its sinister aspect.
He walked to the cave entrance, and entered.
[You were the first person to discover the 'Spider's Lair' dungeon, do you want to announce your name?]
"Not."
[World Announcement: The 'Unknown' player was the first to enter the 'Spider's Lair' dungeon.]
Once again the uproar began, this was the first dungeon found in the game.
