All I saw was black after what happened on the mountaintop. I was floating in pitch black when I saw a cyan color and a pitch white consuming me from the blackness.Then I heard a woman talking and my power form appeared at the sound. As I got closer the girl looked familiar but I couldn't place it. The lady turned around and stopped talking. She floated towards me and then looked me in my eyes.
"well, well, well, you must be the holder, you must be so frightened girl" she said as she helped me to stand up straight on a non-existent floor.
As soon as I was upright I asked her were I was and she looked at me and then looked at something appearing in the nothingness. she said she was going to explain where I was and the power I possess.
"I don't really like formal introductions Katie, don't ask how I know your name ok dear? I'm here to explain some things to you. You are the holder of a amazing power and I'm supposed to help you. The blue flame is moved and controlled based on your will and emotions. The vines coming from your back serve the purpose to protect you. Even if that means shooting you into the sky. Your barrier though..... it's a mystery to me unfortunately. You are the light that the dark can't touch." said the mysterious lady.... WAIT A MINUTE
"MOM? I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU SINCE YOU DIED. HOW ARE YOU-" I got cut off because of who I think is my mom
"yes Katie now calm down, I didn't die of murder ok I died because of the Great power choosing another. This power has been in our family for generations. But now it's time to use this to save someone in need. That is all the time I have right now dear. I love you darling use this power for good" she said as I heard another voice I couldn't put my finger on.
"Katie", "Katie wake up'', Katie are you hurt what happened" the voices said as I was shot back to reality.
"Oh my god thank goodness you're ok, mark would have killed us if you died". the crow man said. he was sitting next to the worried Bunny.
"Phil I think we should get her inside" The bunny said worried about something.
"ok fine but after this your making something to eat Joseph". the crow said
Apparently the bunny's name was Joseph and the crow's name was Phil. I stood up and started walking with them into the cottage. Joseph went to the kitchen to make food and me and phil sat on the couch socializing for a couple minutes before the tv turned on. Joseph came back with food and right in the middle of us eating someone knocked on the door. Phil answered the door and mark stepped inside. the two boys went over to talk with him and then they left.
"Katie, what is that fire over on the hill" he said as he sat down next to me.
l told him what it was and he went on with his life. I sat on the couch finishing my plate and went to clean it. I walked over to the stadium and practiced my powers till dark. That's when I realized what the barrier was and what it is supposed to do....
