Synopsis
A new world, a crazy goal, meeting with an old class, reincarnated into the body of a kitten near the verge of death. … I bet the author was trying way too hard to be creative with this but miserably failed. Still though, how does one expect a bunch of high schoolers and their former teacher to accomplish something as great as saving the world? Whoever casually assumes that to be possible definitely has something wrong with their heads.

Chapter 1 - Reunion and reincarnation?

Middle school. Those three years were the time of my life. Though my life isn't all that long even now, it is still a memorable time.

Perhaps I'm setting my bar too low. But it was the only time I had friends. Genuine friends, or at least that's what I think they are.

Either way, compared to how the other periods of how my life had gone, it was exceptionally amazing. We had a funny teacher, all kinds of unique classmates, and adorable underclassmen who visited us on several occasions.

High school, however, went the exact opposite for me. I was forcibly moved to a different area and continued school there. Alone again.

Anyway, I'll stop the depressing little backstory here. But you kinda get what I'm trying to say.

"And you humans will be the ones to save the planet!"

Someone is announcing something. Something about saving the world from a fated disaster.

I wonder what this man is thinking. Asking a bunch of high schoolers to save a literal planet. Oh never mind, he isn't even a human.

The said man looks something like a mutation between a human and a deer wearing fantasy-like expensive clothing.

Around me were my former middle school classmates who were now in high school. 18 people in total, it was a small class.

Not far from me was the teacher of the said class. She too was confused, just like the others.

For some incomprehensible reason, I felt no surprise at the deer-man's announcements. Rather, I was feeling quite annoyed and praying that his presentation would end soon.

I wonder if this is because I know the drill all too well from watching and reading all those isekai themed light novels?

"Now then, I wish you all a good trip."

In an instant, my sight goes black.

I have a gut feeling that I'll hate this experience.
