Nia did not care for idiots with motor mouth [So harsh! Just because they were talking so much.] She understood the problem partly through their clamoring. She turned back to look at 'Chicken Farm'. The patches of brown were indeed startling and obvious; the monsters appeared to be in berserk state. She did wonder if she indeed had started the problem.... though such thought was only for a moment.
Bunch of supercomputers were working round the clock to work. Few did nothing but monitor what's happening in every map. They would not delay in keeping things within the limits. If they could tailor-make re-spawn rate of low level monsters for each player or each party ,in this type of map- would they have noticed such changes?
This only meant that these changes are necessary. These morons....instead of rushing to Daka village chief and explaining the situation and possibly get a new quest, they just hung around here. Maybe the intelligent ones had already left? Looking at so many brown patches , the situation had obviously started long time back.
She even had a momentary impulse of educating this unruly mob who could not even be a proper mob. She held herself back. She had things to do, money to earn and time was running out.
Alexa assumed Niyathi was afraid after looking at the size of people surrounding her. So she started badgering her. The recording function was already on. After editing this piece, this would be a masterpiece. She would be famous due to this incident. She could feel it in her bones.
She became more bold and her lackeys who could not think for themselves started parroting her. It boiled down to -we want justice; you did wrong; pay us for our troubles or suffer our ire.
The representatives of the the guilds in the village did nothing. Its not their headache. Fighting for justice, fighting for the innocent....heh, who has time for those. The guilds existed to make money and to make legends. The things in novice village would not mean much in long term.

Nia did not even think of asking for help from others. Her temper started rising. Want to hunt me? Want to hurt me? Want to kill me? You are welcome to try. Do you think a person can't progress in the game if he is cooped inside the village?
Even NPCs inside village grow stronger over time whether they go to forests or stay inside the village. Anyway, who cares about the level when I am planning to be a lifestyle worker?
Hurt me? I'll return it ten times...even hundred times back. Maybe not today... but such attention seeking persons would have more incidents. Do you think I can't push a mob at you on later date?
Nia would not back down. It started with a scuffle. A notification alert came to Nia's battle log- a text formed in air so that she could read it. At the same it, a mechanical voice repeated same alert. "You were hurt by fellow player- Mic. Now , you are now in combat status. You can fight against Mic without worry of red name status within 15 minutes.
Beep. Mob like situation noted. You can retaliate against the mob without worry of red name status within 5 minutes.
Beep. Fairy Reena's blessing is in effect. Would you like to receive help from the NPCs in the village? Cost- Villagers' support free for the first time. For each effort from now on, cost of 2 silvers and affinity will be used up automatically.
Ask for Villagers' help. Confirm 'Yes' or 'No'.
Wow. Just when she thought she did not have any other way out, the game had given her options. One fight like a true warrior and kill without worry. Two - be a coward, a intelligent coward and get help from outsiders, i,e., villager NPCs.
Death today did not mean much. She would not loose the items, XP or anything like that. She will only suffer from some debuff state after re-birth. And she would be wake up inside the Village resurrection center. So technically, she could save time and go directly to village. In the meantime, she could wack few of these people and reduce the belly full of ache she had developed after their loose talks.
Getting Villagers' help meant she could bypass others who had inkling of what is going on and inform the NPCs directly. Chances of getting a new quest related to it was very high. As she was in loser side and had support of Villagers, she could make these players' lives hell in next few hours to days, at least.
Both options had pro and con. What to decide? And she had to decide fast. These people had grown bold and now literally hitting her, pulling her, behaving as if she was an inanimate rag doll.
