And so the entity continued his uncertain journey, never knowing what will be his purpose. It never slept nor ate at all, its body doesn't require food to stay alive, it has plenty of stamina and an absurd amount of mana.
But it doesn't know how to utilize its power, and the information it retrieved from its previous life was lacking in many ways.
The darkness slowly banishes as the sun starts to rise, and the entity was still walking until it saw another village, a self sustaining one. The people at the entrance of the village greeted it and offered accomodations assuming that the entity was a wealthy person for it was clad with fine dark suit and a charming face with a decent figure that befits the definition of a noble.
"Com 'ere Sir!" a lady dragged Lucoa into an inn.
She prepared food immediately for the entity, gave it a fancy food, puts a key for a personal room at the dining table and left the guest for a while. She went back to check on the entity but was shocked that it didn't even touched the food.
"Sir, aren't you hungry?" she asked.
"Hungry?" the entity asked her back ignorantly
The lady shooked her head, "Then pay for a day's worth instead. I won't bother you anymore"
Lucoa was very confused on what happened and didn't respond to the lady. The lady became suddenly furious and called her boys to search for a coin on the entity's pocket,
"He's just a coinless beggar!!" the boy exclaimed.
"Pfft!" the lady spits on the ground and ordered her boys to drag the entity out of her inn, "You shameless beggar! Just die on the road and don't deceive others!!"
The lady was very loud that it caughts the attention of the villagers and caused a commotion, and the guards immediaely chased out the confused entity who doesn't have any idea of what happened and why the people suddenly treated him like that.
It walked again in the middle of noon, with no where to go, he wanders the path alone and found an old man again. The old man stares at the entity as if he could see something that others could see.
"You are not human." he said, "Tell me where and how did you acquired that body."
The old man pulls out a blade made out of ether, a tremendous amount of mana solidified into a form of sword. He pointed it at the entity's neck,
"Answer me or else I'll sent your neck flying!"
It is an unknown feeling that the entity felt at that moment, it is what humans call 'fear', and so he answered,
"This body is of a dead young man's..." it said, "He died from starvation and I took his flesh to analyse the structure to make an ideal form of a vessel."
"Hahahahahahaha!" the old man laughs as he withdraw his sword, "You're about three days of age, I see."
"How did you know?" asked the entity
"You know, lived for about how many decades," he replied, "I know averything about your kind, Lec'krits"
"Tell me more, I wanted to know everything about me" said the entity.
"What a demanding fellow we got here hahahahaha!" old man chuckles, "Alright I'll tell you."
The old man took a deep breath and started to tell the story.
"A very long long long long time ago, very long that even I cannot imagine, a supreme being called Zero created countless of Legendary-grade weapons out of boredom."
"Why did he do that?" the entity asked curiously.
"Enough asking and just listen!" exclaimed the annoyed old man, "It was said that he was the first being who walked on this same earth with his bare foot before life started to flourish. He has wisdom and knowledge that transcends even our current era... a gifted one beloved and chosen by the gods, they call him 'Evraim'.
One day he decided to try smithing as a way to kill boredom. He crafted those countless weapons that was now still unused, lying in the armory of his Citadel. But there was twelve exceptional creations that was crafted as Vision Gems but was accidentally given life by the telesma."
"What is teles.."
"Shut up!" the old man continues, "At the beginning of times there was an essence exclusive only to the gods, a divine essence that administers life and is superior to mana, that essence was called telesma. And by unknown accident, the twelve vision gems was infused with telesma, and the product was none other but the likes of you."
"So there's also eleven others aside from me?"
"Yes there is, and the Lec'krit's lifespan depends on the length of the month they are born. You, no the twelve, err each one of you are powerful enough to bring calamity to a certain country. So be careful and take responsibility for every action that you are about to make." he said, "Your life is so short, so I envy the likes of you..."
The old man walked away and never looked back and the entity was left with so much many questions, and for one last time the old man shouted for his final advice,
"You have so many questions, spend the rest of your life to find it!... October! 31 days!!"
And so the entity felt a very light feeling for the first time, he already spent three days to find a reason for his journey and he has twenty eight days left. The questions that only he knows, can be anwsered only by himself.
Finally, for the first time in his life.. he smiled.
