Chereads / Domain's Requiem / Chapter 5 - Easy Farming

Chapter 5 - Easy Farming

Moonlight brought a comforting beauty to the graphite night. The beast roaming the night could be heard hunting there prey.

Screams of agony for those that was hunted echoed throughout the forest.

The moonlight comes to a clear and starry night, a pair of golden eyes where staring at the four humanoid green creatures.

Like a hunter waiting for it's pray to let it's guard down.

Hanzo had waited since daylight, waiting for an opportunity to strike. He already brought stuff thag might be of used in this hunt.

His remaining credit points decrease to a pitiful 50.

Unsheathing the saber. Hanzo moved closer nearing the group of goblins guarding the entrance.

''its supposed to be this time'

Hanzo was waiting for the change shift's that occurs every 5 hours. This time the two goblins from the group of four entered the cave.

I have a minute to finished this off before the new guard's arrived.

Hanzo made his moved. He moved like a beast in stealth silently without sound the pair of golden eyes stared at the two remaining goblin's it seems like it want to devour them.

The two goblins that left shivered for some reason.

Unable to react in time. Hanzo slit the neck of the closet goblin.

Blood stains covered the knife Hanzo used. The black red gory blood gave off a metallic smell.

Hanzo avoided hunting other beast cause they are much stronger than goblins. He need more strength if he wanted to hunt down those strong beast. The current power he possessed Isn't sufficient when facing those monstrous beast.

So he spend his time and effort studying the goblins behaviors.

I am so unlucky to be thrown in this forest infested with those high level monster's.

Shrugging the thought Hanzo get down to business. He pulled out sticks of wood from the inventory, but before he could finished preparing two goblin's exited the cave.

'shit it didn't go as planned, they moved far more quicker'

Hanzo unsheathe the saber dashing forward to the position of the two arriving goblin's.

The two goblin's had there eye's widen in surprised seeing the approaching human in front of them.

Hanzo's fierce momentum stunned the two goblin's for a few seconds. But this few seconds was all it take to approached them.

[Azure Family Sun Moon Combat Art]

Starry wave's of galaxy shown like portrait with each rotation Hanzo made.

'first form severing crescent moon'

Hanzo slashed the head of the two goblin's in a crescent shaped, the starry wave's let out a beautiful image from the two severed heads that got separated from the body.

The two heads rolled to the ground, the bodies lost it's function as it dropped in the ground.

Ho! Hanzo let out a sigh, as he went back outside the cave.

The experience gained from hunting down goblin guards plummeted cause of his increase in level.

Not minding the change Hanzo quickly disposed the bodies dragging them outside.

Hanzo position the bodies with the gathered tree branches, but before that he cut off the pair of ears the goblins had.

The pair of ears can be used in exchange for coin's when he reached a town or a village. Inside the inventory the ears wouldn't root unlike normal bags. Unfortunately the inventories capacity isn't that large and could only fit a small amount of things. But the function of time suspension inside a inventory is far more useful than it's storage size.

He pulled out a purple bottle from the inventory. The bottle cost him dozens of credit points to purchase, the substance inside the bottle is a poison but not so fatal for humans.

It's purpose is for monster's and beast with sensitive noses, goblin's themselves are one of those target's.

Hanzo started to lit up the branches with flames, bodies of goblin's was put above the branches.

Hanzo pour the purple substance to the bodies, satisfied he step back pulling out another item from the inventory.

This time it's a magic scroll.

[Wind Control] Tier 1

• Controls the flow of the wind for a limited time.

It isn't a offensive or a restraining type magic it's a simple wind control, a basic magic that is teach in the early days of becoming a mage.

Tier 1 the lowest rank of magic.

Magic level is divided by tier's the higher the tier the more powerful the magic it is.

Manipulating the winds trajectory guiding it towards the insides of the cave.

Gathering all the smoke in one direction, filling up the insides of the cave combined with poison that got infused using the goblin's burned bodies.

The microscopic particles can penetrate deep through any living beings lungs. As long as the individual uses air to breathe, this kind of attack would be fatal enough to killed them.

Moreover the goblin house's usually had a single entrance if survivors were to pop out Hanzo would dealt with them.

The smoke can cause a range of health problems, from burning eyes losing one's way of direction and a runny nose disabling there smelling sense.

Killing the enemies while in this state is like picking a fight with a newborn.

A few minutes had passed since Hanzo begun the smoke invasion. Notifications from the system begun ringing out.
