Chapter 9
Sabby POV
The feeling of guilt was eating me up since I and Amber had arrived home.
I sat down at the farthest seat, biting my fingers while wallowing in my guilty.
I didn't think it would lead or result in me being guilty of not being satisfied with what I did.
His words still sounded like a chant in my ears every time I closed my eyes.
"You disgust me!".
The amount of hatred he used to enunciate the words were enough to haunt my fragile heart.
"You disgust me!" I cringed mentally when my brain was reprocessing the words.
His blazing brown eyes staring at me with disgust made my skin crawl with unsettledness.
If looks could kill or skin someone alive, I thought he would have buried me alive without an ounce of regret.
I could feel Amber's eyes watching me like a hawk before she decided to walk towards my shaken self.
"It wasn't your fault dear" she tried to reassure me but the brain of mine wasn't getting it through.
