She cringed inwardly at the thought of her staying in Fredrigo's house. She was too wise to fall into his trap. She knew it was harsh to falsely accuse him of forcing that animal to attack her. The idea even sounded vague to her all of a sudden. A sensation she knew too well as guilt over came her.
Staring at him she noticed how troubled he looked. Could it really mean that he was concerned about her family? Or was he using their vulnerability as an advantage to steal his way into her heart?
Knowing men all too well she decided to stick with option two. Men would do anything in there power to get a woman's attention. She learned that through her readings.
