Chapter Thirty: The devil of Aradale
King Darius watched as his son fought a man twice his size in the garden. Prince Alexander's opponent was a mercenary his father paid for the sole purpose of watching him defeat Alexander.
The boy had nothing more than a wooden sword with no helmet or body armor. His lean muscular body which was as a result of intense physical and mental training swerved as he evaded the sharp sword that was aim at his heart. Alexander battled the hired eradicator whose sole purpose was to humiliate him in front of his father.
Alexander's back clashed into the ground when the mercenary knocked the wooden sword away from him and slammed the hilt of the real sword into his abdomen. In his bid to escape with his head intact, he tripped and fell on the ground for the second time still the man did not give him any break.
When the man swirl his sword at him, drawing blood, Alexander legendary temper took over.
