Pearl's POV
The game had ended. The first half was enjoyable as if felt like watching a bunch of grown-up kids have fun while I was only seated and watching over them, but then I started to miss the person who the universe had conspired to make my husband and then that made me lose interest.
I didn't try to leave before the game ended tho, because I didn't want them to feel bad and that was not something I should be doing considering they were trying to make sure I was having a good time even though I wasn't.
"Did you like the game?" Saya said after the game ended and her team was declared the winners she looks far more excited than she did at the beginning of the game and I knew it was all because she had just won the game.
"Yeah, I did" I answered which wasn't a lie although I was sure it would have been more fun if I had actually been among the players.
"I'm sure you guys had a lot of fun," I said and she bobbed her head making me laugh.
