Pearl's POV
"What are you talking about?" My brows knitted into a frown while I asked, this time repeating her words.
"Why would the Alpha be in danger?" I demanded without a smile.
It's been two days now since the events of me crying my heart out at the thought of never seeing him or any of them again and Saya was here to bring me food when she said something that only made me frown with confusion.
"The Alpha stone..." She hesitated before completing her sentence "It's dying," she finished.
But I only frowned I didn't understand why it was a problem that some stone was dying until I was finally able to connect the dots making my eyes widen instantly.
Shit, why would he be losing his powers, why now, why does it happen just as soon as we had planned out our escape? I wondered but that was the least of my worries right now.
"Why is he dying?" I asked wanting to know if there was any way for me to stop that from happening.
