Pearl's POV
After the conversations I had with him earlier I couldn't stop thinking about everything that just happened, for some reason the whole thing felt weird, I should feel like he was been controlled like always that these feelings don't feel natural that all we felt was like a magnetic force we couldn't fight against, one that might disappear after we were out of this place, however, I those were not what occupied my mind.
Instead, I couldn't stop thinking about his arms around my waist how he had pulled me in and the intensity of the kiss we once shared and how he had said he was proving to me that all this wasn't controlled by magic.
Although I should be feeling guilty for cheating on Tate, he wasn't anywhere near my thoughts. Which made me wonder if I was been a really bad person right now but the euphoric feeling didn't reduce one bit.
