Pearl's POV
Her words echoed a few times in my ears, I couldn't believe what I just heard. My mouth was hanging open, and my eyes widened slightly.
Was this their plan all along, I couldn't help but wonder as my senses suddenly returned. No, this is messed up, I really need to make sure that doesn't happen.
I know I was saying I didn't care about how I was slowly falling for someone I barely even know, but this was way too extreme than anything I could have imagined.
"Luna? Are you okay?" Her voice penetrated into my thoughts. What the hell is she asking, how am I supposed to be okay with the fact that she just told me I was going to have the Alpha's baby.
I know I said I wasn't going to fight my feelings for him anymore, but having a baby? That's way too overboard and I just can't think of it as something that would ever happen.
"Luna," she called again, and all I could do was force a small smile up to my face before speaking.
