I let out a slow and shakey "oh, my God," the moment I realized something.
This can't be what they mean, I tried to convince myself, but the words of Saya a few days ago were all that rang through my head and I couldn't help but think I'm completely screwed.
I thought forcing me to marry a complete stranger was the least they could do, but apparently not as I'm about to be forced out of the only planet I've ever known.
All my life I've thought aliens were nothing but a myth created by science but right now as I turned my head slowly to see all the creepy smiles everyone had on their faces as Saya's words replayed in my head like a broken cassette, I couldn't stop my body from shaking.
