Drake's POV
The words "your human parents are still alive," was what the elder has said right before I walked out of his cave, and those exact words were all that rang in my head right now as I stood in front of the thick woods starting at nothing and every tree my eyes could see at the same time.
It has been a few days after he said those words and although I hadn't gone to see him ever since that day again, the words were so fresh in my head almost as if I had just heard them.
Everything seems like a nightmare that's lasting longer than I would like, as I wake up to always find a strange lady beside me, who had been actually ignoring me for days now.
I didn't know what else to do but just woke up and continue to live in a place where everything only confuses me.
I didn't try to make amends with her even tho she practically sleeps and wakes beside me every day, and I'm not sure why I didn't care to even try.
