Pearl's POV
"I'm here to get you out of here," those were the words he said and although I have no idea how he was going to do that it make my heart flicker for a damn second for reasons I can't quite explain.
I stared at him for a moment without saying a word because I didn't know what to say.
I'm not sure what he meant by getting me out of here because he had to be a character my subconscious created too if he was here as that's the only explanation although I don't know if I knew him enough for my mind to make him appear in an unreal world my subconscious created.
I was thinking he wasn't real too just like every other person who was in this place, but hearing what he said made me realize he probably not like my parents who my head made up so when my head tried to tell me not to get excited about what he just said, I thought about it and it feels like my head was just trying to mess with me.
