Pearl POV,
"What happened to me?" He asked again this time around in a firm commanding voice and that made the fear I had a while ago transform into a different type of emotion and I felt the surge of energy rise from the veins in my neck up to my cheeks.
No one and I means absolutely no one is allowed to talk to me the way he just did and I was about to tell him that as I turned to glare at him, but only just until a harsh realization dawned on me.
I don't have the time to be getting angry at anyone here. I have to escape. I need to leave this place as early as I possibly could, so I looked away and walked out of the room or cave rather, the words I was about to say, stuck inside my throat since I couldn't let them out.
I was breathing in huffs after storming out of the room, not caring if I left the strange guy confused or not, leaving him to figure out what had happened to him on his own.
