"It's your favorite dish. Try it once," Joyce encouraged her.
"You are unworthy of being called a Dela Rosa," Lovie uttered. "Do you remember when you told me this before the wedding?" she inquired of her mother.
Joyce was rendered speechless. She had indeed said such things to Lovie but the circumstances were different before. At the time she wasn't aware that Lovie had become such a big shot.
"Sis, don't be so harsh to our mommy. She has missed you dearly after you left the house," Lucas stated.
"Yuri, shall we," she ushered over to the man. Ignoring her family, Lovie had no clue what madness forced her to engage with them in the first place.
Yuri helped her wipe her tears.
"Aren't you being rude by refusing the food mom made you?" Lara asked.
Lovie looked in her direction. Having the same blood didn't give them the right to say whatever they want and do as they pleased with her and except her to smile with them.
