Chapter 4 - Dr. Lin

"Hey! What are you doing!" The doctor immediately became anxious. He ran over and berated Yun Jin, "Who allowed you to touch the patient!?"

The doctor ran over and saw that the old man's face was extremely pale and he was still trembling violently. He panicked at that moment.

If this old man's condition was worsened by this little girl, they, as doctors, would not be able to escape responsibility!

The doctor pushed Yun Jin away. As Yun Jin was seriously inserting the needles, she did not notice the doctor. She was caught off guard and fell down.

"Ouch." Yun Jin rubbed her arm. Before she could come back to her senses, she felt her arm being grabbed by the doctor.

"Where are the security guards? Call the police to arrest her! There's a patient here who has suffered a sudden heart attack. Quickly prepare for resuscitation."

Yun Jin hurriedly explained, "I'm also a doctor! The old man's heart has been stabilized! There's no need to resuscitate him."

The Doctor Glared at Yun Jin fiercely. "How can you be so evil at such a young age! If you delay the old man's treatment, it's a matter of life and death."

Yun Jin's strength was not as great as the man's, so she was pulled outside by the arm. Yun Jin grabbed the railing of the hospital bed tightly and said, "Take a look at the old man first."

The doctor subconsciously looked over, but he saw that the old man's condition had already stabilized. The color of his face had returned to a rosy hue, and there were still more than ten needles stuck in his chest and head.

The doctor was stunned for a moment and asked, "Is this acupuncture?"

Yun Jin nodded. Taking advantage of the doctor's distraction, she pulled her arm back.

"Acupuncture can save a patient who has suffered a heart attack?" Another young doctor walked quickly from outside the emergency room and happened to hear Yun Jin and the doctor's words.

The man looked very tall. He wore gold-rimmed glasses and his facial features were exquisite.

He looked like a gentle and cultured scholar, but his expression was too cold. He did not look like a person who was easy to approach.

"Doctor Lin." The middle-aged doctor saw him and immediately greeted him. He became even more nervous.

Lin Yuan's identity was mysterious. It was said that he came back from studying in the United States. Three months ago, he was sent to their hospital to guide their doctors but no one in the hospital knew Lin Yuan's real identity.

The strange thing was that the hospital director was also respectful to the young Lin Yuan. Lin Yuan's identity was boasted by the people in the hospital to the point of becoming even more amazing.

Lin Yuan just nodded his head in response, and then quickly walked to the side of the bed. A rare look of anxiety appeared on his usually indifferent face.

He saw more than a dozen silver needles on the old man's body. His face was rosy and his breathing was steady. It was hard to tell that he had had a heart attack.

However, the arrangement of the silver needles looked familiar.

Lin Yuan was about to look at the silver needles carefully when a fair and tender hand reached out and pulled out all the silver needles skillfully.

Yun Jin carefully put the silver needles into the box.

"Doctor Li, bring the patient for an EKG to check if he had a heart attack," Lin Yuan said.

"Okay," Doctor Li said. Then, he took the electrocardiogram instrument and prepared to use it on the old man.

Yun Jin calmly dusted off the dust on her clothes. "I'll go out first. Be careful not to let the old man be exposed to the wind."

She was going to wait for Old Master Zheng to wake up anyway. She did not want to delay the doctors' treatment of the other patients, so Yun Jin prepared to go out.

Wang Sheng was relieved to see that Old Master Zheng's life was out of danger. He followed Yun Jin and prepared to go out too. Wang Sheng said to Yun Jin, "Little girl, you saved my life again."

"No matter what, you have to accept my gratitude."

Before Yun Jin could refuse, she was stopped by a clear and cold voice, "Miss... What is your name? Where did you learn acupuncture?"

Lin Yuan was a little embarrassed. He had been abroad for too long and was not good at communicating.

Yun Jin did not shy away and instead explained, "My Name Is Yun Jin. I have not gone to school before. I learned acupuncture and other medical skills from my grandfather."

Lin Yuan's eyes flashed with a hint of fanaticism as he asked anxiously, "Does your grandfather have a mole between his eyebrows and a finger missing from his right hand?"

It was Yun Jin's turn to be surprised. Her big eyes were filled with some confusion. "How do you know my grandfather?"

Lin Yuan seemed to be relieved as he revealed a rare smile. "I know him. Your grandfather saved me before."

"Huh?" Yun Jin did not expect that the man in front of her who had a beautiful smile had such a relationship with her grandfather.

"To be honest, the reason why I studied medicine is because of my grandfather. I also want to be a good doctor who saves lives," Lin Yuan explained.

Yun Jin had a good impression of the man in front of her, so she imitated her grandfather's mannerisms and patted Lin Yuan on the shoulder. "Good luck! You can do it!"

The little girl's voice was a little coquettish. Lin Yuan could not help but smile again. He felt that his words and smile today were worth a year's quota.

"I have a presumptuous request. I hope you can agree to it." Lin Yuan looked at Yun Jin very seriously.
