"Akila" he shouted "Akila" he shouted again as he snapped her out of her unconsciousness
"Pa" she said as soon as she opened her eyes, breathing heavily, "I saw a vision where they come to take you" she trembled with so much fear.
After the reveal of her identity when she was born, her family was killed by the pack. Her mother had sacrificed her life so she and her father could escape. They survived for 13 years in a forest with help of a witch, who created a barrier to make their location invisible to the pack.
"Akila, are you okay?" Her father asked worriedly, she was all he had, and he promised her mother to take care of her with his life so he couldn't stand her going through any sort of pain
"Yes Pa, I'm fine. You have to be very careful when you go to get the water of purity from now on, i saw them attack you and this time they killed you" she said fighting a tear back. Pa you have to stay alive please, I could go with you whenever you're going, you always told me I was strong. I can wipe all of them out"
"No, Akila listen to me. You can't go out yet, you have to stay here, you're not strong enough and they'll kill you, how then do you fight against all the people that killed your ma and siblings? You must never go out till the Moon says it's time and you're ready"
"But Pa" she said as tears rolled down her face, she knew her pa was right, she had to wait for the moon to say it's time.
"No 'buts' Akila. Remember, you're stronger than you know and no matter what happens we would always be watching over you"
She nodded as tears flowed down her face carelessly. Her visions always come through and she knew her pa was really going to die this time.
"Come here" her Pa pulled her into a hug
