Somewhere far from the ritual site, Ayla was running with Madison. She asked so many questions on the way but Madison didn't answer any of them.
Seeing that she wouldn't answer any of her questions, Ayla jerked her hand away from Madison's clutch. "What are you doing? We don't have much time." Madison complained but Ayla didn't allow Madison to take her hand again.
"Gerard said he would be coming soon. Why hasn't he come yet? He said he had a plan, what is it?" she wanted to know what the plan was and if it would be favourable for the other species as well.
Madison was not in the mood to answer her questions. In all honesty, she wanted to knock Ayla out just so she would have to answer such a question.
Even Madison was not happy with the decision Gerard took but there was nothing she could do to stop him since this was his decision.
