"Remember why we are doing this Zyla. They killed all the people of our clan remaining the seven of us. We shouldn't back out now"
Zyla narrows her eyes unconsciously at the speaker whose name is Janice. If she can go on this mission herself it'd be better.
The deadly clan of Kandun was wiped out of the surface of the earth when the wolves from the deepest forests attacked.
They killed everyone. The hunters and their families and spared no one. Though they thought they killed everyone, just seven kids escaped. Four girls and three boys.
They all hid behind the bushes that afternoon on campus. And as it was projected to the weather, it was rainy. It all had happened like the Earth wanted the clan of Kandun to die miserably.
"This isn't just for your survival, it's for your parents"
Zyla. Her white hair covers her right eye and her lashes are as long as a stick poking a stone. The look of pride is pasted on her face like a sticker, but her heart shows a different emotion.
Her body is a slim-fit one and her hair is let loose down on her shoulders in a curly nature. Her lips are pale white and her irises are bright brown. Her whiteness blends with her hair, and if she appears to anyone at night with her figure, one can think she's a ghost.
She's a very beautiful, but yet sad human being. Her life has been pretty hectic alongside the six of them.
That night that it all happened...
1:00 pm sharp.
Everyone was in their tents. Fathers play with their daughters and mothers with their sons. Just a few singles that had plans to get married any day from that day were outside talking.
Even little kids killed foxes and brought them to their parents as little games. They were wild people.
But during that cool afternoon that they all expected rain to get water to drink and bath from, an ear-piercing shriek coming from different people reached their ears, making everyone in their tents rush out.
All they met though was blood and wolves staring at them. Their doggy cute and dangerous eyes match with their growling faces as they stared at the humans.
And then...
Killings took place.
The hunters were skilled, but the wolves had their way.
Not even one wolf departed scathed that day. While all the humans were dead and gone.
Only one woman and seven children remained in their tent, cuddled up together in one place.
A white little wolf caught them inside the tent with its blue eyes staring directly at Zyla.
Zyla was four years old then. So in anxiety, she stared back.
Seeing the little family cuddled up in fear and shivering, the white little wolf backed off without gaining more attention coming from the wolves behind them.
Zyla always thanked the wolf in her heart up to this day, and so did the woman before she died.
But they all made a promise to the woman to kill all wolves they saw and take responsibility by avenging their parents and their clan.
Picturing this in her mind brought great pain to her heart and tears to her eyes.
Zyla opens her eyes and nods twice. She remembers what she told the old woman that trained them to become this aggressive and well-trained.
RECALLING...
"Promise me... That you will not hurt any innocent soul, Zyla"
Zyla, in tears, made the promise that night before the old woman died, about two months ago.
"Okay... You head there tonight"
