My alarm clocked beeped and Lustie smacked her hand on the clock, shutting it up. I groaned and woke up. Lustie sat up and covered her body with the covers. She floated, getting off me. I got out of bed to get ready for the day. I took a shower then put on some clothes. I began to brush my teeth and looked in the mirror. Same shit different day type beat as always.
"I don't think I'm gonna do anything today..." Lustie laid on the bed and closed her eyes. "I hate my hormones...It's amazing how your body can handle multiple rounds and you wake up as if you didn't just have sex with me.."
"Ahh...quit your bitchin'. You wanted it, so I gave it to you. No use in dwelling on it." I said then spit out the toothpaste and cheesed at the mirror.
"Mmm...hey boooossss!" Lustie called to Felola who was downstairs.
Felola teleported into my room and looked at Lustie. She poked Lustie with her tail. "What is it, Lustiela?"
"Help me...I can't move my legs.." Lustie whined.
I walked out the bathroom, turning off the light and Felola looked at me. I shrugged and walked out the room. Felola sighed and poked Lustie's leg hard. Lustie yelped and floated up.
"I'm off!" I called out and grabbed my keys.
"Goodbye, mortal!" Felola called back out to me.

I parked my car and got out, walking onto the court. Caroline and Chelsey were just warming up with Mark. They were just shooting lay-ups then Chelsey turned around, seeing me.
"Good Morning! We was just talking about getting another player!" Chelsey jogged to me and hugged me.
I looked a bit surprised. I hugged her back then she let me go. Mark looked at me and smiled. I looked at him, smiling back.
"How are y'all this morning?" I asked.
"Good, just hanging out with my sister and Mark for a bit." Caroline answered.
"I decided to take the day off and actually have a bit of fun today." Mark said.
I nodded and set my bag against the fence and Mark passed me the ball. I bounced it once then shot it. I made the shot and chuckled.
"You up for a game or two?" Chelsey asked.
"Yeah let's go." I smiled.
"Hey Chel! It's me and Mark against you and Shiro." Caroline said.
"Right!" Chelsey smiled and looked at me.
"Full court or half?" I asked.
"Let's do full." Caroline nodded.

"She is the best player in the island, but I know once you start getting pumped up you'll begin to match her!" Chelsey smiled and went to get the ball.

My left eye shined and I looked into her eyes. They shined brightly of determination. I smirked then began to dribble quickly and tried to make my way past her. She had me on lockdown and I couldn't push through. I dribbled the ball under my knee and held the ball behind me. Chelsey ran past me and grabbed the ball then made her way to the goal and dunked the ball.
"Let's go Chel!" I cheered.

She looked at me in the eyes, distracting me. I blinked and looked back, Mark already had the ball in his hand then he shot a three pointer and made it.

Chelsey celebrated and ran to me and gave me a high-five. I chuckled and jogged backwards. Mark looked at us and chuckled. Caroline passed the ball to him then Chelsey began to lock him down. Mark dribbled the ball quickly and his eyes moved left and right then he bounced the ball under Chelsey's legs. Caroline was about to catch the ball then I appeared in front of her and grabbed the ball then drove the ball to the other end of the court.
"Let's go Shiro!" Chelsey said.
Caroline ran after me and stepped in front of me. I dribbled left and right then went for a fadeaway. Caroline jumped as well then looked surprised as I held the ball out to Chelsey. She grabbed the ball and drove the ball to the basket and hit a layup.
"He's like a couple steps ahead...Can he read my movements that well?" Caroline asked herself then her violet eyes shined as well. "Maybe I should stop holding back."
"Uh-oh. Sis is entering the zone Shiro!" Chelsey warned.
I nodded and Mark got the ball. He passed it to Caroline and she drove the ball down the court. I guarded her and she practically vanished and appeared at the basket. I looked surprised when I turned around to see her dunk the ball.
Mark was also a bit surprised. He looked at me and back at Caroline. "What was that..?"
"Caroline is known as the Empress of the Court. When she gets into the zone, it's nothing but bad news for the opposing team." Chelsey said.

"Mark! Go to our paint." Caroline said.
Mark nodded and ran to the other side of the court then ran to Chelsey. She bounced the ball under her knee and did a side step then went to shoot the ball. Caroline jumped up and her eyes sparkled. I looked surprised then she smacked the ball directly to Mark. Mark caught the ball and dunked the ball.
Chelsey looked surprised and she looked back. I walked to the ball and picked it up then looked back at Caroline.

As expected the game ended with me and Chelsey losing. 21-14 was the score. I sat on the bench and drank my water. Chelsey sat beside me and giggled.

I stood up and went to get my bag. I waved at everyone and went to get prepared for the date at the Frostie Ice Rink later tonight. I got in my car and drove home.

"I'm back!" I called out.
"Huh, this is early even for you, Mortal. Did the date fail?" Felola asked as she cleaned the living room.
"No I just have one later tonight. I went to play basketball for a bit and I'm here to freshen up." I looked at her.

I walked upstairs and saw Lustie sleeping on my bed then smiled. I walked to my closet and grabbed clothes appropriate for the date then went to get ready.

"Not many people here! We practically have the ice rink to ourselves." Chelsey smiled and laced up her ice skates.
"This is a pretty rare occurrence, but it is the middle of the week so that could play a part in it." I smiled back, lacing up my skates.
We stood up and carefully made our way to on the ice. Chelsey smiled then began to skate around the skating rink. I skated after her and watched her. She moved so gracefully on the ice. She twirled around and looked so calm and free. She skated to me and took my hand. I skated beside her side by side and had a flashback to when I was younger.
I felt my heart racing and my enjoyment getting higher. We skated in a circle around the rink. Memories of me and my grandmother skating in this very rink came back to me. I felt more alive than I have ever felt. My eyes shined and Chelsey laughed as she saw me spinning and twirling on the ice. She watched with excitement and cheered.
Those memories made me feel good on the inside, but hurt me as well. I closed my eyes and the memories kept rushing across my head. Chelsey smiled and skated beside me. I opened my eyes and felt tears forming in my eyes then I twisted wrong and grunted and fell.
"Shiro!" Chelsey skated to me and looked at me worried. "Shiro! Are you okay?"
"My ankle...it hurts.." I hissed in pain and grunted.
Chelsey brought me off the ice and sat me in a chair. She sat beside me and held me. I watched the other skaters. Chelsey wiped my tears and looked at me.
"I'm sorry.." I said.
"Sorry for what? It isn't your fault.." Chelsey held my hand.
I looked at her and she gave me a reassuring smile. She blushed and moved closer to me. She moved my hair from my left eye and my golden eye shined.
"Our night is ruined by my injury..." I said.
"No it isn't...it's not ruined...shut up." Chelsey smiled at me and got even closer.
I looked at her eyes then she closed her eyes and I closed my eyes also. She kissed my lips and I kissed back.

"Go home. You should rest your ankle." Chelsey smiled. "I'll see you later."
I nodded and took off my skates then put on my boots and walked to the counter to return the shoes. I walked out the ice rink and walked to my car.

"I'm home!" I announced and set my keys on the counter.
"Welcome back, human. I assume you had a great date?" Felola looked at me.
"Yeah. I did get hurt but I healed so everything is fine." I said then sat beside her.
Felola looked at me and rose an eyebrow. I expected her to move away, but she stayed where she was. I looked at her and she blushed a bit. "You are sitting close to divinity...you're not scared I might attack?"
"You wouldn't hurt me." I said and closed my eyes.
"Would you like to test that theory?" Felola asked.
"Gladly." I smirked.
Felola grunted and stood up and walked away quickly. I chuckled and rested my eyes. Felola walked back to me and sat down.
"I think I'm gonna like being around you a lot." Felola smirked.
I shrugged and chuckled. Felola picked up her book and began to read while I slept on the couch...
