Chapter 25 - 025

"What do you have for me Millie?." Detective bardrick announced, walking into the room holding two coffees in both hands.

Millie ducked her head in shock, and flickered her eyelids at the detective. He had been in and out of the station for the past two days, restless and morbid.

"Thank you." Millie mouthed, taking the coffee from him, the steam from the cup amplifying her worn out features.

"There's nothing better than hot coffee on a chilly morning, while working on a sore thumb case." Millie stated.

"Any new leads?. Any match to the fingerprints on the knife?." Bardrick let out in a flat tone, his eyes fixated on the transparent dash board.

"Yes and no." Millie blurted out, sauntering over to her computer to keep the detective in the loop.

"We haven't been able to trace the prints off of the knife, this person isn't on the government database."
